Those are the Pro Football Reference numbers. I believe they assign catches to the nearest defender regardless of responsibility, so underneath passes can count against him even if he’s covering somebody down the field, as long as no other defender is closer.

Looks like Forbes is having himself a great start to his rookie campaign as well.. according to some Washington fans, he's dropped 4-5 picks already so his ball hawk skills seem to be carrying over from college.. he just needs to hold onto some of them and he will start changing games and flipping fields

Lots of D praise to go around. But one curious absence is Uche. Hasn't really done much.
Also surprised at the limited work for Mills. Although not complaining, because Peppers has been good.

Yeah, I think Peppers and Dugger playing so well has kind of walled off Mills and Phillips from larger roles. Nice to know the depth is there though.

Uche has been a mild disappointment to me as well, but since the D overall has played well I'm not too worried about it. Hopefully that's just a bullet they've got in the chamber over the course of a long season.

Last year I attended the Maryland Michigan State game in College Park. Deonte Banks dominated in his coverage of MSU’s receivers. And they were very good—Green Bay’s Jayden Reed (pick 50) and now Florida State’s Keon Coleman, a likely first-rounder next year. Guy’s a stud.
