The OLine is a mess

Mac is under duress almost immediately on every snap. The run blocking is mostly non existent. Our offense can't get any kind of rhythm going because of the turnstiles in the trenches.
we rushed for 139 yards with our rb against one of the best front 7 in this league, did not give up a sack. I think that's pretty solid, especially in such weather where other teams know we like to run a lot

I would say BoB has to do a better job on play designs. When i watch other some other offenses like the niners, phins, chiefs etc. they have great play designs, lots of motions, RPO etc. to scheme guys wide open and YAC potential.

There should been a safety called two plays earlier when Zach Wilson dropped straight back in the pocket, right into their end zone, and then threw it away.
Yup, I was confused over that play. Looked like intentional grounding from the end zone. If that's a safety then fine but I was just surprised nobody even mentioned it.

This is why people talking about the schedule prior to the season is useless. A month ago, the Giants and Chargers looked to be far tougher games than they do now. Hell, the Saints’ game looks easier today than it did this time yesterday.

While the offense still isn’t on track it’s pretty clear that Jones isn’t the problem. Too many drops and costly penalties are killing them. And the defense is absolutely for real. The fish just put up 70 on what most people believe is a good Bronco’s defense.

Unfortunately this isn’t the dynasty Patriots, this team has to play their best every week to get the win, there aren’t any gimmies on their schedule.

That was far more exciting than it needed to be, but I'll take it.
A much, much needed win. For many reasons. As I've made mention a win could propel this team forward.. the Jets are a elite Defense. Your not going to be able to do much against them.. however they had 150 plus rushing yards.. that's what this team needed.

Can neutralize parsons with another good run game next week. I'm sure zeke is going to want to do well! Gonzo has been an absolute stud.. however Dallas offense starts with pollard. I love the change up on defense.. starting Jennings and white.. made a huge difference setting the tone. Did anyone notice Godchaux left the game? Not me!

The Dolphins are playing madden right now! Waddle didn't even play and they put up 70.. it appears to me the Broncos quit. Going back to last season they kinda soured on russ.. Sean Payton a dam good HC. but on us it's time to confidently say we have an elite defense.. look at what we did defensively against Miami and eagles.

Absolutely Pathetic offensive performance. But I'll take the win.

The safety by Judon at the end was extremely clutch as it took away the option of the FG for the Jets.

And the way Wilson was playing you knew he wasn't going to score another TD against our defense.

On offense, the Game ball goes to Pharoah Brown for an unexpected and much needed offensive performance. His TD won us the game. Second game ball goes to Ezekiel Elliott for a solid 80 yard 5.0 ypc performance. He gave us a much needed option when Rham was struggling on the day.

Mac Jones was for the most part quite POOR. He barely passed for 50% completion rate and if you take away his one long gainer to Pharaoh Brown he had a 5.1 YPA. That's just not good enough. There were just too many botched drives by Mac Jones. And when we really needed the 3rd down completion to put away the game on 3rd and 3, he couldn't convert.

I'm not going to completely discount his one big play because it did happen, but he still needs to improve a LOT overall. 13 points total by the offense is not going to cut it when we face any kind of REAL competition.

Our Defense was fantastic. They kept us in it and they sealed the deal with the safety when the offense kept coming up short. Only iffy play was Bryant's PI that gave the Jets life and a free set of downs at the goal line but outside of that the Defense stands as the real reason we won this game. *golf clap*

Honorable mention goes to Zach Wilson. His incredibly crappy play at the QB position really kept us in this game even though we were on the road and our offense looked even more incompetent than usual. Bravo Zach Wilson, you were playing for the red, blue, and silver today!
I didn’t think Mac was bad. He played well in the first half, meh in the second.

people have to backpedal on all crazy long punts, and they all have hangtime if they are traveling 70 yards. But not all of them end with a 5 or 10 yard return whatever it was. You guys are also ignoring the jets getting a 20 yard return on the ensuing exchange. That punt netted 32 yards. Credit to the jets yeah, but We have to do better period with the game on the line
You can’t compare punt coverage, where 8 guys are tangled at the line, with the free runs of a KO speed unit.

I’m glad the Dolphins are putting up those numbers right now at the start. Reminds me of the ‘07 Pats offense. Curious to see what it looks like toward the end of the season.

You must be watching a different game than the rest of us! Mac was lucky he didn't throw a pick six on that awful screen pass. By my count he was something like 4 for 12 passing on third down. If not for the completely blown coverage by the Jetes, his stat line would be awful!

Got stuffed on a crucial third down run too! Only the fact that they were playing a god awful Zach Mcmilfson allowed them to win this game.

Not saying that any game is a gimme or an easy win, but the schedule just looks significantly easier three weeks into the season than it did three weeks ago. Odds are that as the season goes along, it will be even easier as far as SOS. Remember based on 2023 records, the Patriots had the toughest schedule in the league (at least I think that is right).

I wasn’t saying that you were calling them gimmes Rob, just that it doesn’t matter who they play, they have to play their best to win.

As of right now, anyone who has the Patriots on their schedule, their SOS hasn't changed in regards to them. The Pats are still who they were to start the season. A average team at best who has to play perfect to beat the good teams and still play at the top of their game to beat most teams.
