I seriously wonder about pregame nutrition. I worry they’re serving these guys big meals / carb loads hours before games, hence the lethargy, sluggishness, lack of energy. They just look half-asleep and heavy-footed too often … which is very similar to how one feels after a big meal.I think this has been true the past couple of seasons. Too many games they are coming out slow and tentative. The coaches and team leaders need to figure this out because it’s really hurting them. It seems like they are always making late runs and coming up short.
