O/T: Jim Trotter suing the NFL for being fired from NFL Network claims owner racism

If Pegula said that, and there are no consequences, it'd be hard for players in the league to be disciplined and not feel aggravated...

Many players in the league are black and I'm sure they already feel like there is a disconnect between they and the owners. This does nothing to smooth things over.

let's see the footnote referenced before we lose our minds on this...lets not forget the Adam Jones allegations at Fenway Park...caused a firestorm, but in a stadium full of security cameras, there was never any proof, no video, no corroboration...nothing...

unless Pegula's lawyers file an immediate lawsuit, I'd tend to lean towards Trotter's version of the truth here

Respectfully, the idea that "Pegula isn't suing Trotter, so what Trotter said must be true" is poor logic. A defamation lawsuit is no small thing and ridiculously hard to win. If it is untrue, sometimes you just don't dignify lies with more attention.

yeah, this isn't someone just saying something stupid, though......Trotter has filed a lawsuit with this as a key piece of evidence; Trotter appears willing to go to court with the claim, my guess is he must have corroboration that they made these statements......I'm not putting any stock into a publicists release at this point.....

This is from when Jerry Jones and a lot of other white students blocked 6 black students from entering their all white school in 1957.

What else did you expect? This is on topic. Are fence sitting, neutral replies only allowed?
This is pretty much exactly what I expect.

Very on-topic.

Hopefully you realize that plenty of high profile and ordinary black people advocate for segregated spaces today; do you hold them with the same level of contempt?

Intelligent replies are generally something we hope for but it looks like you missed the mark on your initial comment.

We saw little glimpses of how these guys talk to each other when the whole Gruden Bruce Allen email exchanges came out. If some of these higher ups are willing to put some of this stuff in writing god only knows what they say behind closed doors. Some day the dam will break and whether it is a court case or some sort of hacker leak and a lot of this stuff will come to light. I don’t think Trotter's case will be the reckoning but it will come at some point. These owners are too arrogant and too set in their ways to ever curb any sort of problematic behavior so it is just a ticking clock.

Ah yes, only regime approved viewpoints are allowed. Anything else is "unintelligent".
Broadly saying calling out racism is a hoax and this is just a way to get paid? Yes. I would deem that "unintelligent".

Nailing the Cowboys week 3 and Bills week 7

Does Trotter have anything on the Dolphins for this SNF?
