Hey, I was on the FIRST National Champion Cadet League street hockey team.
Which means we beat teams from the other 3 or 4 rinks competing.

We formed a street hockey team when I was in 6th grade during the fall of 1970 called the Kings of Ashmont Court; a classmate of mine had his own team called the Beaumont Street Boners... Good times, good times...

So Tua is retiring week 1?

Refs for that game are practicing throwing their flags now.

"Holding. Offense #77. 10 yard penalty replay down".

I wish Wynn would have come to the realization and acceptance that he's a Guard on our team. Though I love Strange and Onwenu

I also wish that Bill had come to the exact same realization, like after the 2020 disaster when he decided not to seriously pursue Thuney... Heck I thought that was gonna be the plan - Trent Brown at LT and Wynn at LG - before the 2021 draft screwed all that up.

Something tells me they are going to figure it out and be fine. Interesting to watch though.

The sport is ultimately about winning. They don't give Lombardi trophies based on how far you are under the cap.

Tough winning business model starting a low paid mediocre QB.

In my best

In my best mazz voice (you know whiney and nasily like if the chick from the pretenders and Tom Petty had a kid but was adopted and raised by Bob Dylan)....

"We're gonna bone ya Kings!"

True for the fans. For the players and owners, finance is #1. A chronically losing NFL team is still one of the best investments of the past two decades.

The question is whether as a team you're looking to be consistently good, or rather fluctuate wildly up and down a-la the Rams. 49ers could be a losing team as early as next season, especially having sacrificed 1st round picks in the Lance deal.
