Gil was simply a great play by play guy, period. Didn't matter the game, nor the sport. He came prepared, and he excelled at his job.
Not to mention, terrific voice.

Hoping for more from peppers this year... '22 was the season after ACL surgery, and it's usually a year after the surgery players typically have a rebound year, at least based on ... eh can't seem to find the term I'm look for in my brain this morning... at any rate, looking forward to good things from him this season

Interesting that the Pats are meeting with Cody Chrest, whom they saw at Packers joint. His OC at SHSU was BOB's TE and WR coach with the Texans. He popped up on my radar during the draft as a Pro Day warrior / potential UDFA flyer. 4.38 (1.46!), 4.12shut, 6.77 3cone, 38VJ, 10'5" Broad . One would ass-ume he'd have the brains to pick up the playbook quickly, but one never knows.

Receivers T.J. Luther and Jalen Reagor signed to the practice squad on Friday.
