This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
They almost never call that anymore. One of those "points of emphasis" that's not a real rule that they make up and call for a few years and then it disappears.
Gonzo has deceptive speed. It doesn't look like he is running full speed but he is consistently right on the wr. He is quietly solid and that is great for a rookie.
LSU recruits WR like Pittsburgh drafts them. They are always loaded. Almost anyone playing WR at LSU deserves a good look. And Boutte was very highly regarded going in.

for the most part, I’ve learned over the years that “point of emphasis” rules in all sports means someone whined that the refs weren’t doing their job “properly,” so the refs overcompensate by intentionally calling that penalty over and over again, and show how stupid the complaint was. And then things go back to normal without fanfare.
This happens in all sports. When I was 12 MLB tried to make balks a point of emphasis. Opening day they called 3 balks against Roger Clemens. Made game unwatchable and everyone upset. Within a month things went back to normal.
The only “point of emphasis” change that really did stick around was (unfortunately) the Polian rules on defensive holding.
If that throw had been anywhere but on target, forcing Boutte to break stride, the result would not have been a TD. That play was a prime example of scheme and execution. Boutte ran his route perfectly, Zappe's pass was right on the money so he was hit in stride, and because of that Boutte was in control and was able to turn up field and accelerate.
All of those who weren’t injured played to some extent, on both sides of the ball. I guess I didn’t see Keion White out there, but not sure if he’s a starter yet, and very possible I missed him.
Split the defenders and as you said, hit him in stride. Definitely a play they needed and it was a nice route by Boutte, who after a slow start has really come along well since camp started.
