Never been a big fan of " running" qbs.
Not a winning strategy.
"However" - the one place I want one is inside the (enemy) 7yd line.
Puts a lot of pressure on the defense. If the qb is a really good runner they have to cover it- giving him several likely 1:1 receiving matchups. Pick your poison.
I'm not saying do it every time- but it's a nice tool in the toolbag. Especially with Mac still in the early growing stages.
 
Looks like they mean business with Sow at RT for the start of the season. At least he can move in PP. Remains to be seen how much he can step up getting more reps with less confused group esp. run blocking. Honestly, in this cluster**** situation he was best bet so lets hope he can still make significant progress.

Nice they finally remembered they can try Reiff at RG if he failed to convince at RT. At least he has some size and can move people.
This could be due to Kody injury or part of hail mary reshuffelings in anticipation of Onwenu missing the start of the season ..
whatever keeps Ferentz and Russey away from the first group is fine with me.
