Come on Tyquan 4.28 Thornton. 2nd round pick in your 2nd year. You are not supposed to be practicing with other JAGs/scrubs. Get it together.
You are being beat out by a 5'8 6th rounder.

Thornton and Douglas play 2 different positions. Thornton is an OUTSIDE receiver where he has JuJu, Parker and Bourne ahead of him. Douglas didn't have anyone ahead of him for the slot position except maybe Bourne, but Bourne's been lining up primarily outside.

I am not surprised that Bourne isn't in the top 4 WR because of the Pats extending Parker and signing JuJu. Thornton is NOT and never has been a SLOT receiver. So complaining the way you are is just ridiculous.

Couple of thoughts:

1. The injuries to the OL have been brutal. I’m worried about a repeat of performance to last year. Instead of feeling bad for Mac, the one person I feel worse for is Klemm. They’re gonna have to really scheme these guys up if this continues.

2. I’m very disappointed that TT has become the talk of camp and for all of the wrong reasons. If Boutte continues to develop over preseason and everyone remains healthy, what do you do?

Wrong reasons? You mean because both Jones and Zappe underthrew him and it allowed the DBs to make plays?
