I am not saying he is going to be remotely as good, but Douglas could be what Tyreek Hill is. A guy you get the ball to quickly and can turn quick five yard pass into a 30 yard gain.
No doubt he's a talented playmaker, he was electric in college. Can he do it at the NFL level is the only question and so far he looks the part.

It’s good we can develop him vs put a vet like Hopkins in.
He fits the mold of Pats success. We WILL NEVER land a top round "talent" WR - the curse is real.
But, bottom draft / UDFA WR's is where we discover greatness every once in while. I hope Douglas can be that. Although, it will be another heart-breaking disappointment to watch Thornton disappear this year. He's following the exact path of Johnson, Jackson, Dobson, Harry.
But objectively - the quick shifty slot WR is the position I think we need more with our top 3 WR being similar type guys.
Thornton is #5, and may still get a few opportunities, we'll have to see.

Ja Jones is definitely instinctual and talented, but he seems to be an incorrigible liability.
I don't think he's making it on this Bill Belichick team much longer if he keeps this **** up.

Gross, kind of reminds me of Deion Branch a bit.
I would be lying if I didn’t say I don’t like hearing Marcus Jones getting constantly beat.
A Patriots receiver faking the pants off a good cornerback is cause for celebration, the answer to one of your dreams. Jones is still good, Douglas is showing some impressive skills. Celebrate

I need to see Jack come back to the field we need him.

For you Nixon doubters:
