Yet another Brady argument thread

Against the last team that owned him in the Super Bowl LMAO. It would have been even better if it were the GIants...

Brady broke passing records in that game, going over 500 yards passing

I dont think the Eagles punted once

your football acumen is top notch

I guess when it comes time for KC to make the Kermit statue they won’t be able to use anything from the 2 years Brady kicked his ass in the playoffs and stopped him from 2 SBs

What's worse, Tom not being able to outscore those guys or Bill not being able to put a game plan together to slow them down (Plummer, Sanchez, Flacco, Foles) or finish them off (Eli twice)?

If the Pats home opener is against the Eagles, someone in the NFL front office has a sense of humor and is doing a troll job on the Pats...

Owned him? Brady obliterated the Super Bowl passing record against that defense. Mahomes has never even eclipsed 300 and in the last SB he didn't even get close to 200. He's almost caught Brady in INTs though with 7 less appearances.

What does Mahomes have to do with this thread? Besides, Mahomes has 35 TDs through 5 years in the playoffs while Brady only had 20 at this point.

I don't know, what does Mahomes have to do with PatsFans.com? Look at your username and avatar.

We have a separate thread for Mahomes. If you want to take the conversation there, fine.

GOAT. Not even remotely debatable.

Put him in for a few snaps I'm sure Mac would understand. :)

I'll pass. It's all been covered before. I just wanted to set the record straight about SB 52.

Which makes no sense, because you and others take the opposite position regarding SB 42 and 46.

Go away, just go away. Your only goal here is to make people mad.

Get the **** out. It is a thread that should be joyous. The GOAT is coming home to be honored. No time for your ********.

That might be the dumbest comparison you could ever make. I hope your in your twenties. Because if not then you should just stop watching football.
Apples and oranges the game from Brady's early career to when Mahomes joined the league.

Time and time again... why do you post here lol....

Brady would have one less SB in hand if he had stayed. The Pats would have won 4-7 more regular season games, perhaps 2 more playoff games. We'd be in worse shape for '23-'24.

No SB from '66-'00. No SB's for Cowboys, 49'ers, Indy in some time..... AFC stacked. Pats go two rounds deep in '23-'25 would be pretty good. No AFCCG in '23 or '24 I'm afraid. Patience.

Hope: Remember last year almost everyone said the AFC West was going to be the hammer division.... with a brittle QB, an aging QB, and a throw his body around too much QB in the Division, things could be much brighter by '25. Mega deals for QB's in NY State is going to hollow out those rosters. Brady isn't going to save the Fins.
There's nobody on earth who can make that claim. Plus, the Pats haven't done squat without him anyway.

But even if true he wouldn't have more SB rings now than the Pats and would have been able to finish out his career here. That would have been worth it to me.

I don't see the future dream sequence that some of the fans see. Bill's in his 4th year since The Blunder and hasn't shown that he's any better than Wrecks Ryan without Brady, before or since.

Any honoring of Brady feels so hollow, letting him go was the most embarrassing/disgraceful decision in franchise history.

He has all the right to tell the franchise to **** off, just as they did to him.

He already told them to **** off. He left, they didn’t let him go, he chose to.

He was 100% right to rub his ass in the organizations face for not believing in him while he was still playing at a high level and not only winning playoff games but a championship. Without a doubt. But he’s retired, and it’s professional for both Brady and Kraft to no longer look at the now (which isn’t relevant anymore) and instead honor the 19 years he was here.
