This tweet has to be revisionist history designed to make Bill look good. I mean, all these people that tell us how bad they are at drafting... they have to be right, right?

I read it as 17 players, not the amount of times they are added to the All-pro list. So that means Chandler Jones is on it, as he was drafted by the Pats but made it as a Cardinal.

What's really impressive and depressing at the same time is most of our damage is from the first half of the timeline.

I'm generally more positive on Belichick's team building than most, but to play devil's advocate here, this would be more impressive if they'd drafted an all-pro in the last 10 years who wasn't a special teamer. Basically since Gronk, it's been kicker, punter, and two return men. I don't think all-pro is the end all be all, but this isn't quite the flex that it first appears to be.
