Shame on them for being optimistic. He’s overrated by most on the board.
Right, like the majority of the board last year was defending a DC becoming an OC overnight and Judge on offense. That thread aged well.Shame on them for being optimistic.
Alabama fans are dancing on their roofs.Shame on them for being optimistic.
Yup, they were encouraging him to leave.Alabama fans are dancing on their roofs.
Thank God you got in early on the pessimism.Right, like the majority of the board last year was defending a DC becoming an OC overnight and Judge on offense. That thread aged well.
You're welcome.Thank God you got in early on the pessimism.
On the contrary, many of us were calling out Matt Patricia and Joe Judge as incompetent throughout the season while the blind BB loyalists were brainlessly defending them. Now the season is over you want to change the story? Just admit that BB made a HUGE mistake and move on with your life.Source: Breer: Bill O'Brien is 'completely reworking' the Patriots offense
"I think it's going to be a hybrid of a lot of different things," Breer said. "I think it's going to have some stuff that they did at Alabama that Mac is going to be comfortable with, because Mac was at Alabama. ... (O'Brien) coached Deshaun Watson in Houston, he coached Bryce Young the last couple years at Alabama, so he's got a lot of different ideas."I think he's got really great perspective because he does have the bones of the Patriots offense, but he's gonna be able to do some things that I think are on the cutting edge of where the sport is going."That should be music to the ears of Patriots fans who watched the offense stagnate under Patricia and Jones in 2022. But this also means that Jones will have to learn a new playbook for the third time in three seasons, which is a lot of change for a young QB.The final product of O'Brien's offense should look a lot better, but how quickly Jones and his teammates pick it up will be a very interesting storyline this summer.
My first thoughts: how are the trolls here going to spin this into being a bad thing? The obvious one is they're making it too complicated, it's gonna fail. Who knows, in a few months maybe they'll be calling for the return of MP and his simple offense. We've seen it all here, right?
Since you're being generous, please tell us of an NFL team whose decisions you like. You're welcome.
I wasn't asking about last season or changing any story, I was asking about how the pessimists/trolls would spin this upcoming season, and I got at least one answer: BOB sucks because various Alabama fans were glad to get rid of him. I wasn't asking about last season because I have stated BB made a huge mistake and I have moved on.On the contrary, many of us were calling out Matt Patricia and Joe Judge as incompetent throughout the season while the blind BB loyalists were brainlessly defending them. You seem to have a giant hard-on for the whole BB vs Brady debate, maybe you should take your own advice and move on with your life too? TB12 ain't coming through that door.Just a reminder, sipping koolaid and putting on blinders to BB’s mistakes doesn’t make you a “better fan” it just means you’re willing to tolerate more nonsense for the sake of your loyalty to a man who has delivered ZERO playoff wins for the Patriots without an elite QB, otherwise known as TB12.
Bertram, Felger and the rest of the sports conspiracists are getting ready for this huge nontroversy/controversy..Source: Breer: Bill O'Brien is 'completely reworking' the Patriots offense

I think a large fraction of every fan base wants to replace their OC. It's the inverse of how QB2 is the best job in sports.I wasn't asking about last season or changing any story, I was asking about how the pessimists/trolls would spin this upcoming season, and I got at least one answer: BOB sucks because various Alabama fans were glad to get rid of him. No, I honestly want to know how this article would be shot down, and so far the fellowship of the miserable aren't really delivering. After quoting the article, did you really have to add this condescending, useless line to display your bona fides as a member in Good Standing in Little Billy's Joy Division?
You couldn't just post the link, and leave it at that?
I mean, if that was indeed your first thought, then you think about others possibly hurting Dear Leader's feelings too often.
Captain, are you subliminally hoping that Bill listens to Iggy Pop’s The Idiot...?to display your bona fides as a member in Good Standing in Little Billy's Joy Division?
Yup, they were encouraging him to leave.
