It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Have we become that needy ? ..we want Tom to come back and tell us that he still loves us and we were his first..No show Tom. No one day contract, No visit, no plans for Patriot fans to honor him? What is the reason?
“A couple of weeks ago I asked — as it was being passed around — speculation, ‘Will Brady come back to the Patriots?'” Curran said during the “Jones & Mego” show, as transcribed by WEEI’s Alex Reimer. “I said, ‘That wouldn’t happen, right?’ I was told via text, that would not happen. He would never go back to the Patriots. Now, would he come back and sign a one-day contract? I would imagine the same thing holds true.”
Curran added: “The Patriots had multiple years in which Brady all but crawled on his hands and knees to the door of Robert Kraft and said, ‘Please, sign me. I don’t want to move from this house in Chestnut Hill. I don’t want to uproot my family. I want to finish here as a New England Patriot. He had no idea what laid over those hills in a place like Tampa Bay, and the chalice of celebrity and branding he could drink from. He wanted to stay here. They didn’t let him do it. Do you think he’s going to want to sign now for a photo op, so someone can leverage him after they passed on every opportunity, and made him uproot? I don’t.”
It’s hard to tell whether Curran is engaging in pure speculation or informed speculation. But it’s worth noting he has a direct line to Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., who’s been very critical of the Patriots since his son left New England three years ago.
"At this point in my life, I have no patience for rookies" ( Tom Brady during eHarmony screening)Variety says that he is going on a lot of hot dates. Dating is a lot of work.
The one-day contract scenario is a laughable exercise unworthy of Brady's stature. Also, he retired as a Buccaneer after 3 very productive and successful seasons there, so time to get over it. If you can't then take it out on Belichick and Kraft. Finally, if he were to sign a one-day contract with the Patriots, or some sort of phony deal with the Bucs to help alleviate their cap purgatory, then he would sacrifice any real option of returning to play in 2023, which despite everyone being so quick to hammer the nails in his coffin, is still an option. His retirement papers are a non-issue, he merely has to request reinstatement, which is a formality. No show Tom. No one day contract, No visit, no plans for Patriot fans to honor him? Um, take note EVERYONE:Sounds like he's going to retire a Buc...I remember everyone saying that after Brady retired the first time that he was going to do "something special" for NE fans

We might need to pump the brakes on the possibility of Tom Brady signing a one-day contract with the New England Patriots.nesn.com
This thread was basically a bat signal for that dweeb to post in.Um, take note EVERYONE:

Brady wanted to stay in New England.
Belichick and Kraft didn't let him do it.
Case closed.
Bingo! He hasn’t been retired that long, and he’s probably still in the phase of figuring out if he really wants to stay retired or gets the itch again. He could, theoretically, also just be waiting for Tampa to get through the draft and make plans to move on from him before un-retiring and forcing his way off the roster to another team. I believe he has actually kept his options open from a rights standpoint.
I don’t think he’s actually filed his retirement papers so it’s not like he can’t still do something if he does choose to retire. But even if he does file them as-is, I don’t think the “one day contract” stuff really means anything. That’s just clerical… Coming back to Gillette sometime is perfectly fine and he’s said he will do that in the past (“You guys will see a lot of me around here when I’m done” or something to that effect).

You just answered my question.LMAO
If you have even a little experience you know *never* forget the safe word!In fairness, even with a lot of experience together things can get out of hand quickly when you forget the safe word
Yup. Just relax people. When the time is right and things have died down, he will come.
Right now he's also still probably going through a lot of issues in his head. Losing the main thing in life that gave you meaning to get up, and life partner as well, in the space of a few months would be crushing, even if mutual. It's the kind of thing that takes a couple years to steady the ship after for most people.
The guy with the Chiefs avatar who also likes the Lakers and Nationals.Who's the dweeb?
Yea he must be getting advice from Rex Ryan.
Hes just dipping his toe in the dating pool.
