NFL.com has Jeudy to Vikings in their quote un quote dream trade hypotheticals.
that seems wild to me. The Vikings had to release a bunch of defensive contributors, especially at CB. They also don't have a long term QB prospect. The idea that they should give up high level assets for Jeudy when their defense is trash doesn't make much sense. Surface level analysis of wouldn't it be fun if there was another elite receiver next to Jefferson is fun but not really how building actually works.

Would be pretty wild.
Unless they are thinking Denver wants say Dalvin Cook to be a Kamara there.

do you think that one game is indicative of who he is, or all the other ones?
Let’s say he gives us a game like that every 3 years. Does that overcome what he does in all the other games?
I wasn’t manipulating the numbers I was clearly stating but for one game this is who he is. You are free to place whatever value you want on that 1 game. I place very little.
6/69 would be probably top 2 reception leader here in a playoff game, so i would call this a solid game too
and the 4 numbers were only from his playoff games where you tipically face better defenses. i would say 288 yards in one playoff year is pretty good. Smith wasn't able to get this numbers in the complete regular season. Thornton did not achieve this rec numbers in 13 games in the regular season either. Just to put this in context for you

The signs to me point to the Pats wanting Jeudy, the Broncos needing to move him for picks because they're cap and pick strapped, but holding out for someone to pay more than the Pats are offering in a trade. Thus far not much seems to have happened except for potential suitors (Dallas, Cleveland) moving on to other receivers instead (Cooks, Moore) for far better prices than the Broncos are requesting.

I swear if we misplay this and lose him
I wonder if we called on Highins?

You are comparing him to Jonnu Smith. Ok. I think we can be sure now.

Broncos would only save 2.6 million on him. They don’t need to trade him at all. It’s concerning that they want to.
Payton didn’t go there to not win today. If he finds a puck more valuable than the player maybe he’s on to something.
You don’t steal good players because the team has to get out of a 2.6 mill cap hit.

I’m really hope we work it out to get Jeudy.
I heard Chicago is interested in him as well.
I'll say Chicago is seemingly building something there... I want JJ as well.. wanted to make mention I was reading something Chris long mentioned about juju being a mistake for us.. idk about that.. last I saw him he was making plays in the superbowl Edelman esque..

I liked Jakobi do wish we could have kept him.. however it must've been something BB saw that they felt it was best to move in a different direction.

If they don't trade him, they have to either exercise or decline his 5th year option. In the former scenario, they're on the hook for 12+ next year; in the latter, his trade values drops precipitously.
I do agree: if he's the next true #1 in the league, why not hold on for dear life. That said, they're paying Sutton now and need draft picks with Wilson's CAP hit exploding.

D Hop to Buffalo?

D Hop to Buffalo?

It would be a Buffalo thing to do to spend what little cap they have left on. WR making a ton of money and push more $$$ into the future when they need defense and OL.

Jake Moody would be my day 3 target.

A punter and kicker incoming R5 or R6 in the draft. Seems to be a few good punters this year. Saw Moody as a R4 pick but I think R4 is too rich.

Have a similar feel to this. BB wants Jeudy, but has an amount he is willing to give up. He’s also willing to let this go till Draft night. I think in his eyes (and to a point mine as well) that our WR core is already improved primarily due to better coaching and scheme. So if we miss on Jeudy he feels we will be fine. But if we wait it out we might get him at a lower cost. Not what I want or think, but I can see BB thinking this.

Yep. The closer they get to draft night, the price falls as well.
