Patriots Talking to Chargers TE Donald Parham

He is now listed as 257 by PFF, I wouldn't overpay for him.. but he is an intriguing prospect particularly with our red zone issues we have experienced the past couple of years.

The Rams are on a fire sale and I think they have a good TE that shouldn't be too expensive

Parham's size is intriguing but he's had 3 seasons with an excellent young QB and he has nothing to show for it. Maybe a TE3 but he's not the TE1b we need.

Pass.. this class is teeming with The talent we should double dip maybe triple dip . Shouldn't be spending big money on TE next year and allow rooks to take center stage so that we can get a true WR1 and CB1 in free agency.

He looks like a big wide receiver.
Makes me wonder if Bill O'Brien has a certain type of player he wants. Between Parham and Gesicki, there's an archetype there. Hunter Henry also kinda fits that mold.

I watched a decent amount of Chargers game and he had soft hands and got himself open I guess they are thinking just chuck the ball up at the goal line.
I don’t hate it.
Obrein knows Tightends.
We will never see a duel threat of
a gronk/Hernandez tandem ever again in this league.

They were dynamic together.. BOB got the best out of them 2011 we scored on dam near every possession...

Why??
Just to tick you off..

I’m good with Gesicki in free agency. Also wouldn’t mind grabbing Laporta or Tucker Kraft in round 3. Schoonmaker, Latu, Whyle or Davis Allen with one of our 4ths
