NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Official 2023 Free Agency Thread

Happy with the Peppers news. Most of our returners are as I expected. Sans the biggest and most important one - Meyers.
Glad Dorsett is off the market, I didn't want a retread to look like we fixed the need.
We've got to land a legit WR now.
I think we could bring 2 to 3 new receivers a fullback and 2 tightends prior to the season opener.

Can we get Paris Campbell?? ( 3/ 21 8 guaranteed )?

Our FO had the opportunity to extend one of our own guys at a not-unreasonable cost... And didn't.

Yet Thanksdad & the Spaceman, two of the very Worst players on the team, are under contract for 2023 when they didn't have to be.

Little Billy & Al Groh's kid are practicing Opposite Free Agency.

Who is Spaceman?

No.. It's not.
Adams, Renfrow, Meyers, Dorsett. They have Zuber, Lacy, and Tyler Johnson on Future's contracts..
Your correct. For some reason I thought Hollins was still under contract.

The longer this drags on the greater the chance the Pats can jump in and grab him. If the league all views him as a right tackle he’s going to need to settle for less.

May be hard to believe that Bradberry went for $12.5m per year, when JC Jackson was up at $17m.

No other teams wanted this guy?
At least we can end the night on a positive with my guy peppers being resigned huge for the secondary...

Bradberry for some reason fell out of favor in NY, everytime I saw him play he was getting beat and holding and grabbing..

He goes to Philly and resurrected his career.. I think he is better than JC Jackson.. at least Bradberry can challenge teams # 1s JC didn't show up he was a ball hawk but could never accept the challenge

Am I missing something. Don’t the lions have some pretty good backs?

Swift is more of your pass catching back with some injury concerns and Jamaal Williams is a free agent. Montgomery will presumably fill Williams role.

We need to find our James Whiteish back.
I think we have our James White back in Pierre Strong. All of our 3rd downs backs have sat for a year or two before we gave them significant snaps. Let's see how this plays out.

We need to find our James Whiteish back.
Isn't that supposed to Rham? Hasn't everyone raved about his abilities in the passing game? Problem is he's also a lead back but I think there has to be a way to balance his reps and still get use out of him in both roles. Or maybe just use him like a bell cow and run him to the ground like Henry or something.

Damien Harris not signed yet. Most likely comes back on a 1 year 2 million deal

So day 1 of free agency is officially tomorrow, time to start making moves!

Hopkins, Jeudy…

Dru Tranquil, Lavonte maybe, hello? anyone home?

An LB and Hopkins plus draft Njigba + an OT, Kraft TE, and Martin Safety, Lonnie Phelps and a punter in the last 2 rounds. Try and get Kobie Turner in the 4th-5hth also.
