OT: National Championship discussion

He's not a natural catcher, fights the ball a lot. A lot of body catching but he's electric and athletic with size.

Idk about 1st RD unless you're sure you can develop him.

Hyatt is a poor man Devonta Smith. Addison and JSN are exactly what we need in the slot. Ladd McConkey who's playing tonight and Rakim Jarrett are two others that could probably crave out niche roles.

@long distance I'm not allowed to post in that so I'll answer you here and I'm my thread later.

I'd be very comfortable with Wright at RT. I think he's plug n play. I'd take a shot at Paris and Harrison with Scar. I like Harrison a lot. It's not a top heavy class that gets you excited about throwing a 1st RD pick at some of these guys.

Thanks @BaconGrundleCandy !

I thought plug-n-play LT, RT is more doable of course. Id go for LT with Scar as well unfortunately things have changed dramatically after him and they stupidly let his disciple go as well so my trust at coaching up OL rookies esp OT is close to 0 right now.

btw - What do you mean not allowed to post?? You should be paid by the post!

There’s Quentin Johnston

Mcconkey welcome to NEP, soph
Carter nothing special so far

Looks like my six point teaser bet (TCU +19.5 and Under 69) is kaput already….

Give me some bowers on the pats

I can’t tell if it’s Bennett that looks good or the Georgia OL making it look that way.

Looking like a rout

It's a bit of both, although the Georgia OL is just best-of-the-best. Bennett's a really competitive kid, I think he's one of those 15-year mostly backup types, which might threaten to start for someone.

Bennett seems more than a backup to me. 2 championships is no joke...

How did TCU beat Michigan lmao

Would be remiss if I didn't mention that TCU's o-line is pretty damned good in their own right.

Well, with the Bulldogs about to make it 31-7…I am watching the Celts….

Bennett has been playing for 1,000 years at Georgia now. He’s, quite literally, a man amongst boys. This one will be over by halftime. Nobody from TCU can get any separation against Georgia’s secondary, and Georgia is just chewing up that 3-3-5.

Major major talent gap

It was a cute story for a week I guess.

Because the Big Ten is crap, it has been for years. Ohio St. played 5he game of 5hier lives against Georgia and still lost.

They should have put Alabama in the CFB. The Big 12 doesn’t play defense.
