Umm no 100% he’s gone
Yeah - no chance he is OC next year.

I quoted you just to say you have the best signature here!

edit: just saw your name - also the best name!

If Dirty Mac is getting a 3rd year why wouldn't Fat Matt get another chance? It's gonna be fun!!

I don't want BOB. I want us to start moving to a modern offense. It's not 2010 anymore.
What is a modern offense?

Because teams with great player like Tyreek and Waddle score a lot of points. Other teams that use Shanahan's offense don't score so many points.

You need players

I absolutely think Bill intends to keep Patricia as OC if he can have it his way.
BB is old skool and you dont throw your boys under the bus.

Aggressive offenses that play mostly to stretch the field and use complex routes to scheme receivers open and attack the middle and downfield. We still are a screen, short pass offense that prefers to dink and dunk to diminishing returns. Brady was a precision master and could do that plus we had perfect talent for that like Edelman/Welker.

But it’s very apparent that when we’ve been aggressively attacking downfield and mid field we look so much better and get in a rhythm.

It’s not working just trying to establish the run and throw screens. Even without the talent we play better going away from that

I don't see the difference, honestly.

You throw body blows with those screens, you tire out the defense, you prevent turnovers, you rack up YAC.

The Bills, when their QB is healthy, use the Daboll offense which I believe is very close to ours. They throw short passes and suck in the defense.

Both Bills TDs went over the top yesterday. They really have our old offense in Buffalo. But then again, they also have Stefon Diggs.

But we don't do that. Our screens go nowhere and gain minimal yardage and because we aren't making the defense cover more of the field they aren't getting tired.

But that's Patricia and bad coordination. Not offensive philosophy.

If Kraft wants BB to cook the dinner he cant dictate to Chef B what pots and pans to use.
Kraft can insist that Bill get rid of the pan with a hole in it, though

Kraft will sign the PO. Just order the EFF up a new pan, now. Pick it, Bill. Just not the old one.

BB can go Gordon Ramsey on Kraft and tell him to shove his kitchen up his arse.

In BB I (still) trust...though your crown is a little tarnished, now, big guy...I mean, you do want to prove that it really wasn't all TB12, don't you?...so, when it comes to OC, I'm just gonna say it should be "ABMP" (Anybody But Matt Patricia).

If BB thinks Patricia's enough of a Football Savant to move him into Ernie Adams' office, that's up to Coach. Just, please, get somebody as OC who can get the damn plays into the huddle on time and give Mac Jones the fair shot he deserves for one more season...and BTW, Mac, three picks yesterday...not a good look!

In his 4 seasons as HC, his offense finished 16th, 13th, 11th, and 21st in the league in points scored. The only bad year was this year. Hopkins was suspended 8 games and Murray was out for 6; something broke this season but it’s more than just those 2 guys. But on the whole his offense has been league average. Certainly better than ours.
Not so sure that "league average" is something to which the Patriots, or any serious franchise, should aspire...just saying...
