That's my point. The NFL changed the rules, I'm guessing because of BB and probably some others like Payton etc..saying **** off. The rule now is if you haven't made the playoffs in one of the last two seasons. Or if you miss the playoffs in consecutive years you cannot deny being on hard knocks.

I didn't know that. So apparently the NFL's TV contract has a provision about this with HBO. Something about getting forced to be on that show doesn't seem right.

I really don't have an opinion one way or the other. But knowing Bill would most likely never do it within the context of that show. Obviously he did the football life, so maybe if it was his last year or something, but with that said; being able to watch that from a fan standpoint would be awesome.
