Incredibly sad news. Was so shocked this am after hearing news last night that he was responsive to doctors and squeezed his hand. God bless, and our sympathies to his family.

Sad, you don't expect a leg injury to be lethal. Him being an NFL caliber athlete, I have to wonder if he doesn't make the burglar eat the gun if he wasn't already hobbled with an injury.

From what I remember,if there was no doctor around when Robert Edwards injured his knee at the Pro-Bowl,that could have been life threatening too.
