I have to say, I honestly feel cheated by this coaching staff and Belichick. I feel like there was a solid foundation laid last year, and then they made these bizarre decisions about the offensive scheme and who was going to run it that obviously didn't make any sense.
Here we are..... What should have been a 11-12 win team able to win a playoff game, is now a total sh't show dumpster fire.

We lost McDaniels and some coaches he took with them.

We changed to the offense that was more suited to Mac Jones and what he was used to.

McDaniels was gone.

They made a bad decision to put Patricia there.

Honestly, if they get their act together in the future with a good new OC, it may be seen as a good decision, because we discovered some things about Mac we never would have otherwise known, and by that I mean, he really has folded under adverse conditions. Even when he gets time to throw, he exhibits signs of PTSD.

We need a new OC and a new QB.

If we didn't lose last year's OC, we'd be sitting here saying what?

He had a great o line last year. The guy had everything, running back, receivers, o-line...he's a very good qb just not Mahomes or Allen or Brady (in his prime) or Rodgers (in his prime).

I'm more inclined to put Mahomes in the Brady, Brees, Rodgers realm than Joe Burrow.
