I will add, they miss leadership. Edelman on this team wouldnt have let this crap go on in terms of stupidity or showing up the coaches.
Yeah.
Offensively for sure they're missing leadership. Trent Brown being a clown wouldn't fly with Edelman

Coming off one of the toughest losses in years, this is going to be an incredibly tough game against one of the top teams in the league.

We have been right there most of the games this year with a chance to win, but have come up short on a few occasions. Let's see if we can bounce back and surprise everyone with a big win this week.

Let's discuss!!!!
If I were Bill, I'd show the team the film of Jim Marshall running the wrong way down the field for a safety.

And laugh about it. About the last play on Sunday.

Get everyone to laugh about it, because it's so silly it's funny.

Loosen up, gain perspective, then everyone can prepare and be ready to take it all out on the Bengals on Saturday.

And then the Dolphins.

And then the Bills.

The Patriots are talented enough to win all three games and be playing well going into the playoffs.

Football is the most intense, emotional sport of them all. You need to have a common purpose to play this game and win.

Sometimes you can't put it into words.

In the past, Bill's had ceremonial playbook burials, film sessions and personal visits from legends from other sports, all kinds of creative things.

Yeah, like all of us, he's older. But I personally believe Belichick's still got it in him. He's just got to reach down and find it.

without the two jones and mills our secondary looks thin against chase boyd and higgings

no worries Bryant will handle them WRs

We're going to find out if the locker room has quit on BB this Sat.
I expect the Bengals to roll all over us, but we'll see if the team shows any fight.
If Mac is as sloppy as last week, and we go down ~20 in the first half, I really wonder if we see Zappe.

Terez Hall is a fine guy to have on the practice squad, he’s been elevated before and not looked totally lost. Made a couple plays.

How does this matter?

They lost a young LB they invested in substantially - also the only modern game LB on the roster - meaning having enough quickness, speed and strength - one of the few people on the roster able to play backwards... In return they continue to pile up on immovable LBs that the game has left behind some time ago.

Its ok to keep one or even two - but this looks like a museum collection..

Bengals would like to win on Saturday.

We HAVE to win.

Just trying to be optimistic. Lol

This team is unraveled because the offense can't score points. I think I saw the stat they lead the league in most defensive and special teams touchdowns. Take those out of the stats and offense is most likely last in the league in scoring.
It's ground hog day... The same thing will happen against Cincy... The offense will set up 2-3 fgs in the first half. I'd be shocked if they score more than 10 pts in the first half.

Looking more closely at Burrow's performance in CIN losses:

Wk 1: vs PIT 23-20 / 194 Tds / 2 TD / 4 INT
CIN OL was in shambles. PIT had a healthy Watt. Burrow got sacked 7 times.

Wk 2: @ DAL 20-17 / 199 Yds / 1 TD / 0 INT
CIN OL still in shambles. Burrow gets sacked 6 more times.

Wk 5: @ BAL 19-17 / 217 Yds / 1 TD / 1 INT
Ugly divisional battle. Burrow gets sacked twice.

Wk 8: @ CLE 32-13 / 232 Yds / 2 TD / 1 INT
Burrow constantly harassed, sacked 5 times. Brissett's best game.

Wk 1-8: 4-4
TD: 17 (5.6%)
INT: 6 (2.0%)
Sack: 29 (8.7%)
YPG: 291

They've won 6 straight games since Wk 8. His OL is playing much better. Burrow was sacked only 8 times in last six.

WK 9-15: 6-0
TD: 14 (6.8%)
INT: 4 (1.9%)
Sack: 8 (3.7%)
YPG: 259

The Bucs D played them well in 1st half, sacking Burrow twice with 1 INT and holding them to 3 pts. We know what happened in the 2nd half.

A good D game plan against them is possible. Pressure Burrow, sack him at least twice, get a TO, don't give it away, and they can be beat. Uche, Barmore, Wise & Judon have to come up big to help the secondary. It's a tall order but possible. Mac has to score at least 1 TD and Rham 1 TD, and leave the rest to Folk.

If it becomes a shoot-out, we lose.

The big difference that stands out is the Bengals defense has very few sacks, 22 to our 48.

But they’re still effective. At least lately.

If Hubbard is out the comparison is 16 to our 48.

Foxboro forecast, 21 at kickoff, 24 midgame, 21 end of game. Christmas Eve. team going south.... game day tickets should be very cheap, StubHub $50 right now, get in price probably $30-40 Sunday. there will probably be more empty seats at Gillette for the Cincinnati game than there have been in a really long time

People sense a brutal beatdown coming. Could be another no forced punts game for the pats. So they stay home. Humiliating watching them.

Probably not.

Good morning everyone!!!!! Getting you all ready for a Thursday. Interesting that Steuber is practicing for the first time.....Love to see what he looks like. Might be someone we can look forward to next season!!!

Mac didn't appear on the injury report yesterday, but this bears monitoring:
