NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL Week 13 Other Games

Could be. Just think Brady is the one guy that could mask a lot of the obvious problems we're seeing every week.
With our team (Pats- it's tough to mask the myriad of problems we're having- o-line, play calling, injuries etc.) His team is 6-6, the same record as we are and the Bucs have more talent than we do. Now, if we had Brady, I think we do win the Green Bay game and then we're 7-5, not sure if he gives us any more wins though, not with our O-line playing the way it is.

No one is rooting against Bill Belichick while he is still our coach. They may criticize him for the decisions he makes, which we do with everyone on the team, but in the end we all want to win
Yeah and any fan of any team complains about their team's coach and their decisions from time to time. It's not like we're doing anything different. That's not cheering against him.

I think Brady has a great offensive mind and as we saw in Tampa he has enough sway to veto anything that he believes won't work. Bill=defense, Tom=offense. Couldn't have matched better. It's why that was a partnership that was so successful that will never be duplicated again in this league.

Not one poster here who is a Pats fan is cheering against Bill Belichick
Id love to see BB win a ring without Brady because the dig on Parcells is that he never won it all without BB.

The problem is that BB the GM is doing himself no favors drafting a QB or WR. Brady was a gift and a fluke that will never happen again as long as the world is spinning. The next closest BB drafted starting QB is Jimmy and he is so erratic and injury prone. Jimmy was somewhat carried to a Super Bowl by a run game and defense.

Exchanging Mac or Zappe for Brady wouldn't change any of the Patriots 6 wins to losses. But the Miami and GB games definitely get flipped from a L to a W with Brady so that's 8-4. I think they win at least one of Vikings Bills and Bears so that's anywhere from 9-11 wins and we might be in first place.

Brady also would have masked the deficiencies in the OL and coaching in a way Mac and Zappe can't. Oh well.
Yep. There are definite roster issues, but Brady and better coaching gets this team to the afc championship game, like the first 20 years of the century showed

BB never had to draft a QB until 3 years ago. That's not a huge sample size.

And if he were to leave to another team, I and probably most of us level-headed Pats fans would wish him well and continued success unless he is coaching against the Patriots. Same with Brady and any other former Patriots who left the team (on good terms ;) ).
Oh there's a decent contingency on this forum rooting against BB or wanting Kraft to fire him already.

Damn, I didn't realize Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant...what a story that would be if he ends up winning the SB
He would make more money from the movie rights than NFL career

jimmy G could return for the NFCCG or Super Bowl…Niners need to just keep things afloat until fhen

I still haven't watched how it ended. That was some ugly football.
Brady was awesome on the game-winning drive. The PI on the previous drive was totally legit... the DB grabbed and held the left arm of Evans. Even still, it looked like maybe Evans could have fought through it better and made a play on the ball. It was definitely a PI though.

Evans is having a weird season. He tapped out on the game-wining drive which opened up an opportunity for Miller who ran a nice route on a key 3rd down conversion. Brady threw a bullet to Julio on the next play... beautiful catch got them to the NOR5. Brady made a great throw to Godwin on the next play for what should have been the game-winning TD but Smith bearhugged a defender. Brady still got them into the end zone three plays later. It was the opposite of ugly.

Damn. Last night I fell asleep watching Bucs/Saints at the end of the 3rd quarter and didn't wake up until around 3am.
So was a bit of a shock when I woke up for real hours later to read about TB12 leading the miraculous comeback.
I hate missing those- there probably ain't a lot of those left and it never gets old watching the GOAT do goatish things.
None of us are likely to ever see his like again. The same is also true of BB- though he has messed up for the first time in his 20+ yr Patriot Reign.
No doubt about it, Pats are mess offensively now and it falls on the HC.
I think we will see Bill do goatish things this offseason to fix this clown show.
He ain't going out like this

They already are, outside of the board. Their lives are a predicament. Couldn’t imagine spending the holidays alone, Googling which Chinese restaurants are open for takeout and hoping the workers there won’t laugh as they waddle, sadly, out of the restaurant while breathing heavily out of their mouths.

Maybe he's at this place...?

youtube a christmas story chinese
