A terrible game was vs CHI

Half and half game. Defense dominated but offense was scary pedestrian, if you can even call it that. We don’t have what it takes to play from behind. As of now, our team wins or loses based on how good our defense plays.

And as we know this defense is bad against mobile QBs. So our defense can only be relied upon so much. It is a good one, just not elite.

And one third of the aesthetics at that. Defense and special teams played well to even great today.

I don’t think Zappe is the answer either but I think he’s the better option right now.

Why are we so sure that Zappe is not the answer ? We have seen him in 2 full games as a starter and a couple of games he came in when someone else started the game. I am not saying he will be great but we don't know one way or another. I also wish people would stop commenting on his size. Russell Wilson is shorter than him and he has had a lot of success, there are a lot of QB's that are between 5'11 and 6'0. Patrick Mahomes is the same height as Zappe., height is not an indication of how well a QB plays. just saying that one bad game does not define a QB.
If Mac does not improve as the year goes on, Bill has to give Zappe a fair shot to see what we have with him

Schooler keeps popping up on good plays throughout on special teams. I think we are in good hands once Slater calls it quit.

Seriously, this blame Mac Jones for everything wrong with the offense thing is a little sad. Why not blame him for Meyers not holding onto the ball too.

Meyers has had fumble issues this year, but a 7 int to 4TD's almost halfway into the season is atrocious

My recollection is that at one point they did play action on first down, faking the run and made the Colts pay for the run blitzing.

why does everyone assume McDaniels would turn him around. Would it help him get a better pre snap read? Would it help him get a better post snap read? Does he need a baby sitter. He finished the last quarter of the season last year doing the same things he is doing now. Does he need a baby sitter?

I thought Zach Wilson was nuts with his postgame comments, just shell-shocked nonsense. But now I realize he's entirely serious and really believes the Jets deserved to win.

And, Sauce Gardner, "I’m like, ‘Ain’t no way we lost that game.’"

The fans better be ready for this one, but even more so, the Patriots players must respond to the outright insults.

They are probably thinking of the horrible pick 6 called back on a RTP call. Mac got bailed out by the Jets defense being stupid. Mistakes like that will cost them the next game

RTPs happen all the time.

The Patriots moved ahead 3 scores and they took the air out of the ball.

Anyone who thinks the Jets should've won that game because they lost by 5 or 6 and had a pick 6 taken away, well, they don't understand football. And they don't understand Belichick. He's not going to give the game away when he gets a 3 score lead.

I don't think the Jets should have won that game, but if Mac throws up horrible passes like that in the next game, then the Jets probably will win

We won. We all know what their deficiencies are. I chose not to dwell on them and complain about them every week

None of this means that it was Jones' fault that the Pats couldn't pick up more than one yard on most of their first down running plays.
