I agree with what you're saying, though. My sense, though, is that the k-balls aren't fundamentally different than a regular NFL ball; they just aren't allowed to be prepped/worked at all. I don't think there's anything about a k-ball that is unique from any other NFL football.

I thought I heard/read once, maybe after Tony Romo's botched handling of a game-winning FG attempt during the 2006 POs in Seattle, that K-balls were slightly smaller than regular ones but weighed the same so that they travelled farther, in its way similar to a baseball that's wound a little tighter...?

All I can say, is if you don't find a way to work out a mutually fair deal with Meyers now, you are again sabotaging this team.
Meyers has been the lone bright spot for this team over the last 3 transitional years. He hasn't even exploded as much as he could, so to make a deal now before FA is critical. He certainly deserves it more than Agholor, Henry & Smith. Assuming you're going to drop 2 of those 3, give Meyers like 4/40m. And while you're at it, dump Parker - he's not worth it. I totally believe Nixon/Wilkerson would give you what Parker is, at a fraction of the cost. Meyers, Bourne, Thornton, Nixon/Wilkerson (+ new solid FA, and/or Draft pick). Bourne is worth keeping for final year of his mid-money deal.
There is no way Nixon/Wilkerson give you anything close to Parker. For the Price Parker is a bargain.

4/40 for Meyers?

Why would he sign that?

I like that nickname, Sunshine. I'mma gonna start calling Mac Sunshine.

Rham is doing a good job being a receiving back, but I recall Mac going to Bolden a ton last year after White went down.

I remember thinking last year that rham may be as good as najeh harris. This year hes without a doubt better , unless najeh’s lis franc is really holding him back. But we may have landed the best rb of that class.

Players don’t change much beyond injury, offensive lines and opportunities change.

The players are exactly the same as they were last year… the team around them has changed.

Rhamondre was a liability as a pass blocker early last season. Bolden knew what he was doing. Rhamondre improved as last season went on as a blocker and earned more snaps. He has been a good learner.

Not sure why, but I feel very unsure about this one.

Something about Ehlinger. Definitely wish Ryan was starting.

Najee was really good last year before the lis franc injury in preseason . He seemed to always make the first guy miss. This year hes incredibly average, just not the same guy. Their ol was even worse last year than it is now so hes either regressed himself or the foot is bothering him.

Ehlinger is a talented player, and he’s a first year starter but not a rookie. He played really well last week and had his coaches trusted him to throw more they probably would have won.

They’ll throw more this week if the Pat’s D slow down that rushing attack. Ehlinger can also make plays with his feet which has been a problem for this team.

Don’t sleep on the Colts, we’ll have to play well to win. Mac has to improve and play better, not shrink as the season goes on.

Both, RB’s behind horrible lines take a beating and look mediocre.

Cant blame this on the ol because again, they were awful last year too. And more importantly jaylen warren, a udfa, is running MUCH better for them with the same ol and people here are thinking he may be in line to unseat harris soon (i live in Pittsburgh so i unfortunately see alot of this team). Najee has really fallen off this year

I have no idea why we would've been interested in trading our depth away. There's a reason teams around the leagues are looking for WRs and RBs. Their guys are getting injured.

We have guys on friendly deals like Parker and Bourne. Keep them around. 4 WRs is a good thing to have if we can sign Meyers.

Same goes for Damien Harris. I know we have Strong and K. Harris, but these RBs get hurt so often, and it really looks like RB is going to become an integral part of our offense for the forseeable future. You can't have Rham go down and then hope that K Harris can be as productive.

We're also looking at $60m is spending money under next year's cap and the free agent market is looking slim. We won't be bringing in offensive tackles off the FA market.

We have to spend that money somewhere. I don't have a good enough eye to know who is playing LB well around the league because I almost never look at that part of the game while watching (my eyes are really trained to the OL and DL when I watch). But I'm sure Belichick is looking around for the next Ninkovich and Van Noy.

It's going to be a very interesting decision. Onwenu has been really good at RG, do we move him to RT, where he would be our best option at that position. Did Cole Strange get benched because Andrews wasn't at Center, working next to him? Do we leave Cannon at RT for now and maybe test Cajuste or as you mentioned do we dare move Strange to another position? Fascinating questions!!!
One thing I know, I'd rather not see Ferentz playing Center another week.
I don't think Strange was benched. I think it was to give Wynn snaps there.

Their OLine is worse this year. And as bad as Ben looked last year he at least could run a short close to the line passing game.

The team around Najee is worse and opponents know they can load the box to stop the run and Trubisky can’t burn them. Pickett’s a rookie and now Najee is hurt. It’s just a bad situation for the RB.

Mac Jones better hope this kid Sam Ehlinger don't out play him he had nice game last week and came from the same Draft. Also the Colts have Three nice WR's I expect them to pass it some they have a really nice Rookie WR in Alec Pierce. This might be a more competitive than we all think no easy games with the current Mac Jones.

Rhamondre improved as last season went on as a blocker

I know people don't take much out of pff but they are the only ones that kind of track and grade that kind of stuff

This is for RB's that have had at least 25+ Pass Blocks

So according to pff he is basically 1 of the best pass blocking RBs when you take into account the volume.
