I think Chubb is a solid player but he seems pretty streaky and somewhat injury prone. I guess if you're Miami and you think he is that piece that can help you beat Buffalo or KC in the playoffs then the risk is worth it but that price seems steep for him.
Brady to da Jete next year!Brady to Miami next year…
At the very least Miami is getting 10 wins baring a Tua injury.Which he will. Plus he's soft
I don't get this. Harris would only make sense to trade if you're giving up on the season, considering it would leave us with exactly 1 RB worth seeing the field. Chubb would only make sense to trade for if you're going all in this season. So there's a conflict there, for starters.I might of done a first and Harris.
Patriots are going to be fighting for third in the Division for the foreseeable future.
Like I said in my previous post I don't get it either. It's huge for them to get a first back after getting fleeced for a washed up Russell Wilson.I checked out a Broncos message board yesterday and they were talking about the potential of getting a first rounder for Chubb. They all near universally though any GM who gave up a first rounder for Chubb should be fired. Broncos fans don't seem to be nearly as big of fans of Chubb as people around the league are.
Do we have a Super Bowl contending team this year? Or one that would be if we just added that one final piece? I don’t think we do. We have a team that could contend for the final playoff spots but that’s about it. I also don’t think we have anyone to trade away that’s expendable except maybe Agholor, so there’s not much we can get back by being a seller, at the risk of potentially losing that playoff contention ability. So with that in mind, I’d expect any trade the Pats make would be for someone who could help in 2023 as well as 2022. Smith and Chubb’s contracts are up and they’ll be given large extensions by the Ravens and Dolphins; while they can be viewed as multi-year from that perspective, it’s a high price to pay in trade value and wouldn’t be worth it unless they can help with 2022. I just don’t think the Patriots would do a ton better in 2022 with either of these guys on the roster, as we have broader issues to deal with. Maybe I’m wrong though. They’ll try to get players who can help in those spots in the offseason, and just use the rest of this year to assess the talent and mental toughness of the players they already have - so that when we ultimately do contend, we’ll have players mentally tough enough to seal the deal.I hate when we do nothing !
Makes me feel like mediocrity is acceptable
I'd be more mad if we were wasting draft picks on guys who won't be here in another year or two.I hate when we do nothing !

I do not understand Detroit...
Minnesota is the clear winner
But Hochenson is still young and a very good playier
Return was minimal for Det
Minnesota great achievment
Forget the trade value for Chubb. The new contract will be the most fascinating part of this. He’s got the inconsistency and injury history that would usually be held against a player during contract negotiations, but it’s harder to argue against a player’s contract demands if you’re trading a first round pick for him.
Calvin Ridley to the Jags apparently.
