OT: NFL Week 5 Other Games

If Jimmy G keeps winning and goes far, niners have an interesting controversy next summer.

Do you boot him for trey Lance who showed nothing then got injured? Could set their team back in the "elusive" hope that he's even as good as Jimmy G but a "playmaker"

They could get to the Super Bowl in a weak NFC...now THAT would bring up an interesting predicament.

Yeah, they have as much talent as anyone in the NFC.....Jimmy needs to be a game manager, sort of like Zappe was yesterday and like Cooper Rush has been for Dallas, just no turnovers.

Shanny is in a weird place. It was said all along he preferred Mac Jones over Trey Lance but Lych et al talked him into Lance. This off season he thought it best for the team to kick Jimmy to the curb to give the Lance experiment a chance, but then Lance gets injured and it's Jimmy all over again. Personally I see the pattern continuing, with Jimmy being good enough for a playoff berth but blowing it in a big spot, leaving behind enough doubts to make the 9ers decide to not pay him next year. Should make for an interesting free agency though. If Jimmy can stay healthy and not choke too bad, he's gonna get paid!

People don't seem as interested as me in the "What if?" scenario of "What if the Niners don't trade up for a QB and selects a position player that helps him now such as... Micah Parsons who was drafted in the spot they traded up from?" I say they would have won the Super Bowl last year with Jimmy G as Trent Dilfer and extra draft capital to boot.

People seem to accept the Lance trade on face value instead of considering it a crazy gamble that seems to have backfired.

Don't be a clown you defended Brady vividly when he almost took out Ed Reed. That was worse than whatever this is.

He’s an ass and now you are attacking me?

No I'm trying to make you open your eyes and keep the same energy. When he literally cleated Ed Reed you defended him to no end the web archive is there and now you have a problem with this Jarret incident??

That was years ago...almost a decade. And you're bringing that up now? Back then many of us thought that Brady was just trying to protect himself and gave him the benefit of the doubt. This is way worse since there is no defense of it.

In retrospect, Brady's actions against Reed may need to be reexamined in light of what he did yesterday. Florio needs to run an article on it.
This was trivial lmao. Get your fake outrage out of here.

Yeah, trying to kick another player TWICE is trivial (one time he makes contact with Jarret's arm and the other he tried to kick him in the nuts but misses) He should have been flagged, at a minimum, for unsportsmen like conduct. The guy is an ass.

You and every plebbit boy and angry reply-guy on Twitter only pretend this is a big deal because it's Tom Brady. Nobody would care if was Davis Mills or just about any other QB out there. Also, wasn't this Mac Jones a year ago? You'd be on your knees in the middle of your street, screaming at the sky if Brady did this...

Mac got his bell rung and thought the guy had the ball and tried to tackle him. At worst, it's Mac trying to prevent the defender from recovering the fumble, in which case it was unsportsman-like, but not cheap or dirty as there was no intent to injure.

20-0 Eagles are still in play. A bit of luck was needed yesterday. Cardinals down to their 3rd string RB. Kicker missed an easy FG INDOORS.

Find me a loss on their schedule? MNF in Philly with Cooper Fecking Rush?? No way.

Sad but true.

I have noticed over the years that Tom looked like a defender shouldn't be able tackle him/sack him. This started in 2005 when that Broncos team and John Lynch in particular got in his head. Got worse after the Pollard cheap shot which I understand as the Ravens were low keying cheap shoting him - hence the Reed kick.

Also, more players are slowing talking about his poor sportsmanship when he loses running straight for tunnels but wants to be front and center of the cameras when he wins.

Every NFL player angles for calls. Every NFL player reacts, in some manner, to what they consider to be cheap shots. And the statistics tell us that Brady does not get favoritism. So don't waste your time on the clown parade.

Screw Mac or Zap. I'm trading both of them, 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and some lobsters for the privilege of paying $50mil to watch this artistry week after week:

When you consider Kyler Murray is:

1) Not under any pressure
2) Throws off his back foot
3) Showing body language that indicates the WR messed up
4) criticized for not preparing enough
5) being paid $50 million

you realize the Cardinals are in a lot of trouble.
