There was plenty of evidence that Bill was unfaithful and I linked an article. At least you acknowledge that if that was the case you won't argue that he handled it poorly. I was challenging the usual suspects that constantly look for anything from an interception, his diet to his investments to whatever they can dream up to be outraged about regarding him. I wanted to see if any of them had the honesty to hold the same standard. They didn't. They simply avoided dealing with it. But I agree one doesn't have anything to do with the other's marriage problems. This is a perfect example of a pernicious post that contributes to the sh*tty Brady-BB subculture here.
I don’t know the details of BB’s first marriage and if he actually was unfaithful. It’s possible he handled it poorly, maybe not. I’m not sure. It’s also completely and utterly irrelevant to this matter involving Brady-Bundchen, or the post you were replying to.
You’re a better poster than this, I think.
There has been a lot of criticism over Brady's decision in this thread (peppered with the occasional silly comment about how "it's only a game") but it is this single minded determination and commitment to football which has made Brady the Greatest of all Time.
whuh whuh huh whuhhhhhh.....??!??!??I’ve heard this as well. The theory is that Leo dates these women below 25 because they aren’t looking for marriage and kids. Rumor is he dumped one of these women on her 25th birthday.
It's possible to be the greatest at what one does and still have a family life.
It seems they had agreements in place over the years where she would sacrifice her career and take the lead on the family side while he pursued his football career, but it seems he took it a step too far by agreeing with her to retire then unilaterally deciding to un-retire.There has been a lot of criticism over Brady's decision in this thread (peppered with the occasional silly comment about how "it's only a game") but it is this single minded determination and commitment to football which has made Brady the Greatest of all Time.

25 year old single women are not looking for marriage and kids? Where do you live and how soon can I move there?
It all depends on which reports you believe. There are plenty of reports that these issues preceded his decision to unretire. I am still sticking to my theory that during his brief retirement, it became clear the marriage was unsalvageable so he said screw it, I may as well keep playing. It seems they had agreements in place over the years where she would sacrifice her career and take the lead on the family side while he pursued his football career, but it seems he took it a step too far by agreeing with her to retire then unilaterally deciding to un-retire.
I have a theory about the high rate of divorce and it's not about the lawyers as much as it is each other.Happy is the key word.
Plus, the divorce laws are skewed towards women. Hire the wrong Attorney and you will be living in a van down by the river.
We have so many great SB memories from the Brady years that we'll be fine.Give it another two seasons of Patriot mediocrity where we’re stuck in a Ryan Tannehill “he’s ok but not great...do we risk dumping him?” situation with Mac and the anti-Brady trolls are gonna go full Damnatio memoriae about Brady and tell tales of how the Patriots won 6 Super Bowls with 6 different starting QBs.
I can't remember what player or coach told this story but he was saying how they'd pay hookers to visit their opponents hotel the night before a game. The "no sex before the game" was a real thing. The myth that it could effect performance the next day has been debunked but Tom Brady takes everything to the extreme.
I am not implying that Lawyers are causing divorces.I have a theory about the high rate of divorce and it's not about the lawyers as much as it is each other.
It was Lawrence Taylor. Not sure if it's true or not but he said it.I can't remember what player or coach told this story but he was saying how they'd pay hookers to visit their opponents hotel the night before a game. I guess you are believing what you want to believe, because we now have multiple reports saying Tom is the one who is hurt and is trying to salvage the marriage while she's the one saying "screw it".It all depends on which reports you believe. I tend to agree with XLIX but it's the sequence of how things went that might mean it could be both of them.I guess you are believing what you want to believe, because we now have multiple reports saying Tom is the one who is hurt and is trying to salvage the marriage while she's the one saying "screw it".
Yes. He did say that. I don't think there isn't a dispute over that.I think we're in Occam's Razor territory: you're relying on multiple unsubstantiated theories to make your case, whereas the obvious one is right there for the taking.
In particular at (4) you're relying on undocumented, unnamed issues rather than going with what I've documented via linked articles as Tom unilaterally going back on his word to retire which does follow the pattern of him putting football ahead of family, something she has been quoted as a concern of hers going back to 2020.
Of course the links are gossip but still they are not being contradicted and we know both sides have plenty of ways to get things out via the media.
The way I see it, breaking the promise to retire is more than enough to cause a marriage with some tensions in it to become unsustainable from her point of view, and her reported actions justify that stance. Whether or not he already decided the marriage was unsustainable before that point is an unknown, but as above I think his current remorseful actions suggest otherwise. Of course, it could be a show and he's quietly glad to be out of the marriage with her being seen as the aggressor. No one knows for sure.Yes. He did say that. I don't think there isn't a dispute over that.
What there is a dispute over is a) believing Tom retiring/un-retiring from football in 2022 as the root-cause for the divorce and b) believing Tom playing football after ~2020 is the root-case for a marriage sliding into dysfunction.
