Our weakest unit on Offense is QB
We are fine on the OL (except for backups)
We are fine at WR, although we need to decide on who should get the most reps.
We are fine at TE.
We are fine at RB.

Bedard has become a massive douche. His website is struggling, so he has chosen to go negative 90% of the time, because he knows that negativity sells and he’ll continue to be a guest on Felger and Mazz as long as he bags on the Pats.

Other than throwing the ball, Mac seems like a very good QB.
Please don't plant ideas in BB's head, he still has Cam Newton's phone number.

Interesting take on the offense. The QB - the only one who plays - has played a total of 20 NFL games, is 11-9 in those games, and as a "unit" has the least experience on the offense. Mac has a ways to go, and will get better with experience. Mac did a fine job with the lead keeping the chains moving. It's encouraging the OL moved up from the worst "unit" on offense to arguably the second best behind the running backs.

What was most encouraging today was the play of the offensive line, which played a lot of man blocking schemes mixed in with zone blocking that was particularly effective in the fourth quarter when the running game exerted itself with a smattering of key play action passes. The blitz pick up was vastly improved over a week ago - helped in no small part by Mac Jones taking off for (I think) three rushing first downs..

Their next opponent has some real issues to resolve. A week after the Patriots defense held the Dolphins to a single offensive TD, the vaunted Ravens defense gave up six - 6! - passing TDs and 469 yards in the air by Tua Tagovailoa. If Belichick, Patricia, and Judge can do anything well, they can watch film and see where the Ravens defense is vulnerable. I had the Ravens as a clear L in my predictions which is now leaning towards a W for the Patriots.

I'm bewildered by the TE lack of production - or even targets, and by the lack of snaps that Bourne got (only 22). But what is encouraging was the number of players who caught a pass - six - and none of those was Hunter Henry, Jonnu Smith, or Davante Parker. A win without any of those three getting one reception is very promising.

The thing is even vs the Jets, the Jets had no problem moving the ball against the Ravens. They just couldn’t close out drives. The Jets did have 380 total yards in that game.

If the improvement we saw from G1 to G2 is a consistent trend, this team will be a force to be reckoned with come Nov/Dec.

This defense is pretty good. They looked good against a bigger threat last week on offense, and they stopped folks in key moments today and didn't let much of a vibe to be found by the Steelers.

I said before the season that I was excited to see how well the secondary plays without a Revis, Gilmore or Jackson because they seem to be the more consistent unit from year to year as of late (oh my GOD I still have PTSD from those early 2010's) - and they seem to be holding their own quite well.

Mac seemed to have some jitters, especially on those errant throws. But he's being tasked with a lot this season and expecting _better_ is, on one hand, understandable - we're fans and want this **** to move smoothly - but potentially unrealistic. I hear and understand folks concerns, however, until I see a consistent lack of development, it's hard to pass judgment just yet.

Glad to see this W. Idgaf if it was ugly. How many times did we have ugly wins with Brady and Co. (Hint: too many for our heart health as a collective of fans)

I believe in the regular season with Mac we are 7-2 in white jerseys, and 4-6 in the blue on blues. Interesting.

Ugly wins usually mean two evenly matched teams that are a bit off that day meeting up, and one making a late mistake that the winner can capitalize on. Patience and discipline.

Jakobi just keeps getting it done out there. He’s our best receiver. He’s been our most consistent, reliable player in the passing game for three years now. Always rooting for him.

Concerned by Mac’s performances to start the season. He needs to be much better or we are going to lose a lot of games. Nice to win this one but the Steelers offense is a joke. If Mac keeps playing like this we will get our door blown off by teams with good offenses.

Mac owes Agahlor a Rolex.

That TD was and INT, but Wetherspoon totally screwed it up.
Tricky right? Yes... It wasn't a great ball, but great receivers would make these catches more often than not

Im choosing to give Nelly props for going up and get it.
Pretty sure Hill and Waddle are studs.
won't hear me say otherwise

But it seems like most Elite teams, if not literally all but the Chiefs (forgot Kelce), coincidentally or not, seem to have one (or two) studs at receiving. More and more, I think it is becoming a """necessity""" to have at least ONE Stud at receiving

Nice win. Feeling better about the coaching, o line and play calling. Hope they can keep the momentum moving in the right direction. I'd love to be wrong about my dire predictions coming out of the preseason and game 1.

Chefs have a glorified receiver in Kelce.

The defense has a say in that. But then again you are probably someone that's gonna be on here all week saying how the ratbirds defense scares you when thru 2 weeks they have been the worst passing defense.

Agree. He was constantly tweeting when pats gave up 3r and 10 and 3rd and 17 pointing to steve B. then tried to throw shade at pats again for letting harmon go
