This is all the culmination of horrible GM work by Belichick the last 5 years or so draft wise, and personnel wise. The Pats have taken ONE explosive WR in the last 5 years. They waited to draft two bust TEs in the worst years for TE drafts, which were sandwiched by great TE draft years (2 excellent ones before, one after).

You watch games and see guys being hugely successful (WR’s & TE’s) for other teams, today’s games are a great example. Players we clamored for year after year, draft after draft. Players Belichick passed up for the usual defensive bust (usually DB’s). Yes the drafting has improved slightly the last 2 years, but the lack of weapons not drafted by Belichick had to be one of the reasons Brady left (plus the cap).

Then this offseason, NOT to bring in an OC after losing McDaniels, was criminal, not to bring in a QB coach is criminal (OC & QB coach could be the same guy). And WHY are they changing an offense that was successful with a rookie QB ? The Pats were #6 in points scored last year, WTF are we doing. You could even see in preseason, Mac looked bad running this NEW offense. They most definitely are going to ruin Mac.

I LOVE Belichick, I love him probably more than most, he’s brought us 20 years of greatness. But it’s obvious he just doesn’t seem to get football of the 2020s (offensively). He doesn’t know how to draft weapons. He doesn’t seem to realize he needs explosiveness on offense. Thornton and Strong are going explosive, but one’s on IR, the other a healthy scratch. The team needs a bright OC with some great offensive ideas, not two former coaches who got fired for their ineptness.

If they go 5-12 or 6-11, he needs to go, and they need a brand new coaching staff.

We could be 1-4 then face Detroit. That will be very interesting. Detroit’s revenge against Fat Matt, who many Lions fans dislike?

Wonderful. This experiment with the offense has already resulted in an injured Mac.

I'm watching other games, what I'm seeing, is either Mac doesn't recognize the defense, or play calling is holding him back.
Too many EZ plays.

Is the play calling SO BAD/Difficult that we have no luv for the guys to make a play?
Stiller's have been back yard ball for years.
Gimme some BYB , Mahomes and Ben have used it to good for years.
You can easily see no one is open a lot of the time. They replayed the throw to Hunter where there a bunch of guys around him and none of the receivers were open.

Granted, he's late on the short throws. He's looking downfield and then comes back too late to go underneath.

For instance, the ball that was almost intercepted by Brandon Jones, Mac threw that too late.

We need to go back to dink and dunk to open up the longer stuff. Short throws are there.

Not playing Kendrick Bourne because he spoke out against the offense that’s run by a former DC is a microcosm for what is wrong with this team right now IMO.
He was right. They were wrong to keep him on the bench.

Where is the one win gonna come from? Sorry, but this team is just pathetic. I see nothing that gives me much optimism going forward,

Call Dr. Freud, fast.
I was just f*cking with you. I saw right through your attempt to soil his reputation. He said no such thing.

No worries, my friend.

AFC East solidarity.

Not a single other division in this league has won as many Super Bowls as our division has in the last two decades. You'd think that would bring all of us together, along with every other Dolphins and Jets fan, too. But apparently there are bad apples amongst us.
Our division won Super Bowls the last 2 decades?

Only one team won Super Bowls.

This is one of the most absurd things I ever read on this board, and that's saying something.

That's like soiling an already crap stained shirt. But you should still see a doctor.

Truth is somewhere in the middle. I think they've developed some blind spots, but some of this is an overreaction. They made the playoffs last season and won the Super Bowl as recently at 2018/19.

Did you just group together an entire division for total SBs the last 20 years?

Mac Jones's arm looks plenty strong on this throw to Bourne:

I continue to say that Jones's problems are not reading the defense right and not making decisions quickly, the things you would expect from some who's been in the NFL for 18 games. Not worried about his arm.
