NFL Training Camp(s) (non-Pats)

Speaking of Skyy Moore I think it's evident between him and JuJu KC is looking to dink & dunk more. That's the word anyway. Mahomes is getting his mind straight and looking disciplined. They still have plenty of options and Mahomes is an all-pro without Hill.
I expect the discipline to last at least through the first half of the first game.

Lamar was no-where near the MVP conversation last year lol. He wasn’t even in the top 10 in MVP odds. Lamar has never been as good as Allen. Not even in his MVP season.

It was Lamar’s electric running that propelled him to the MVP.

To that end, Baltimore’s power running game has really helped Lamar pad stats that he wouldn’t have in literally any other offense. There were drives where the offense would run the entire way down the field and then Lamar would throw a 1 yard pass to get the TD.

Don’t believe me? Go to the Ravens forum. Their own fans are debating whether they should even re-sign him to a big contract or let him walk lol. Ponder that for a few minutes.

I haven’t seen a list that puts Lamar in the top 5. Allen is #1 or #2 on most lists.
Allen sux dude. And the Bills train derailed in 13 seconds and they won't get it back on track.

He's an above average passer and the best QB maybe ever running the ball. Combined he's incredibly effective and not easy to game plan against.

He's the real deal, in a way that he's a top 10 option in the position group and is always a threat to finish as the leagues MVP.
Until he wins consistently in the playoffs he won't be considered "elite" which is a stupid term BTW. Josh Allen is also not "elite" either tho he's much better than Lamar. Otherwise I agree with your assessment of him. The question I have for you is : does he make his teammates better? You can't be elite if you dont.
To me, there's only 2 elite qbs on the nfl: Brady and Mahomes. Period. Rodgers has mostly choked in the playoffs so no,not elite. Allen hasn't done enough yet. Maybe he will be,maybe not. Qbs will be judged by how they perform on the biggest stages. It's why Brady is the GOAT and Joe Montana #2 way ahead of whoever is #3.
And I don't want to hear about poor supporting casts. Brady rarely if ever, had great supporting casts but won anyway.

Ok we disagree on the MVP talk, that's fine.

What you can't disagree with is the stats I posted. That's not my opinion or yours. "Jackson has a higher comp %, passing rating, ANY/A, AY/A, Y/A and taken less sacks than Allen"

I actually think it'll stick at least short term bc they're preparing for it and obviously Hill isn't there. Their targets almost dictate it but I know what you mean. Actually interested to see what Hardman does with no Hill.

I’m surprised to hear this argument from a Pats fan.

For the majority of Brady’s career, he didn’t lead the league in TD’s, AY/A, Y/A, sacks, or any other stat on any given season or trio of seasons.

But he was definitely better than those players that were above him in the stats.

I would think about it as long as there's not these known problems behind the scenes with Jenkins. There's been rumors about his attitude for years. That and an obvious ean bill of health. He's talented enough. I'd think about. Him and Onwenu might start some riots on the right side.
I haven‘t heard this about his attitude but obv there is a flag when a franchise with a Maximum average o line is willing to Trade a Second round rookie OT despite new Scheme Coach etc

Josh Allen is absolutely top 3 QB right now.

Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen. Allen hasnt won a Super Bowl yet, so until then he is behind Rodgers and Mahomes. Given the choice between Allen and Jackson, its Allen without question. Allen has thrown 14 TDs and 1 INT in the post season. Jackson has thrown 3 TDs and 5 INTs.

I want a QB who makes those around him better. Thats Allen. I dont want a QB who is focused on making himself the star of the show. Thats Jackson.

Lamar Jackson is a choker.

Granted that the Bills have lost to KC the last 2 post seasons, but KC has been the hottest team in the NFL. They are expected to go to the Super Bowl. I see the Bills winning the Super Bowl this season. KC is going to struggle without Hill and if they even reach the post season in that House of Horrors division, the Bills will beat them this time.

You can keep deflecting but that doesn't change the fact that Jackson has been just as good or better than Allen as a passer.

Surprised you'd put Rodgers in your top 3 when he chokes more than Jackson. I know he's back to back MVP, but cmmon he keeps faltering in the postseason when he had the best receiver in the game.

Oh... Ok.

We can agree to disagree.
Lamar is the hardest qb of all the good and great qbs to evaluate. He's unique.
He's easily the best running qb I've ever seen. The guy most similar was Cam before all the injuries. But he's better than even prime Cam imo. As a runner, not quite as strong, but still strong. But faster, quicker, much more elusive, lot more shake n bake.
And he's a better passer. Thing is,his running ability is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because no one's really been able to stop him. A curse because (a) with such great running ability,it doesn't make him work on his pocket game and throwing mechanics as much as he would otherwise. And (b) all that matters to me about a qb is how they produce in the playoffs. And a qb produces on the big stage by passing. Lamar would never be able to bring his team back from a 28-3 SB deficit ala Brady. Not right now. He's got the arm talent and everything I've seen/heard about him is that he's an intelligent guy. But you can't perform like Brady did vs.Atlanta unless you play like that all the time. Its not a switch you can just turn on or off. I like Jackson. I like Mahomes game as well. Neither one is a classic pocket qb but both are good(Lamar) and great(Mahomes) passers. But Mahomes has won a SB. What I'd really like to see is Jackson really work on his pocket game and cut his runs in half. Save it mostly for the red zone where it would be even more devastating if he were a more prolific passer.
Think about this: what if Lamar developed his pocket game over the next few years to where it was excellent?
That would be scary.

That writer has been pushing this general idea for a few months now. Back in May, he included this line. Yikes!

If Jones had a leadership presence for younger players, the team could justify keeping him in 2022. But he has been anything but that.

Rodgers does choke, but he has a ring and there is no denying that he is upper echelon.

Rodgers is one of the best deep ball QBs in the game.

Let's put it this way. Green Bay is in the Super Bowk conversation just about every season with Rodgers under Center.

Then wouldn't TB be a better choice for Top 3? Unless you're iffy about his age
