I'm not sure anyone is really going to win in this situation, at least for 2022. The 9ers are unlikely to get anything significant for JG since teams know they're going to cut him (and that salary is restrictive). JG is now already going to miss the early part of camp with whatever team he DOES go to, making it that much harder to have a really good "prove-it" year. And the team getting him also has to get him up to speed on a rushed schedule. I don't know how to divvy up the blame pie, but this situation really should have been dealt with a month ago.
