Brady to Fox after he retires

I suggest you watch Man in the Arena episodes 4 and 5. At the end of one of them he says "F the Giants." Dude is still bitter as hell over those two super bowl losses. In case you noticed around here, we only care about the postseason.
I'm sure he is but that has nothing to do with his new job.

It's very likely Brady will retire without losing a single game to Bill's Patriots. I guess then he will be really happy and excited to be calling Patriots games ;)

Too bad. He has thrown touchdowns against 31 teams. Can you guess what team is missing from this list?

Nobody will remember that and rightfully so as it's a worthless stat - but everyone will remember that Tom's Bucs beat BB's Patriots and Bill will very likely retire with 0 wins over his ex QB.

More people will remember Tom getting owned by the Giants and Broncos in the playoffs and the Rams and Saints as a Buc than they will the game against NE. Why do you think he came back this year? The lost to the Rams is eating him up lol.

Very unusual for a GOAT in any sport to have four different kryptonites.

They'll remember the Giants Super Bowls, but not really for how Brady played more how the defense blew the lead both times after Brady gave them the lead, plus the helmet catch and the throw to Manningham. They'll also remember the win over Bill's Patriots, one of Brady's most notable non Super Bowl wins of his career. I really doubt anyone will remember or care about those other games years from now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him do some appearances for Fox this season... maybe even spend a day in studio on their bye week.... that would be cool.

Perhaps if he played better it wouldn't have come down to a single play vs the Giants...he laughed about scoring only 17 points beforehand, remember?

And do you think people are going to remember a win against NE when he threw for 50% completions and 0 TDs? His KICKER won the game for him. And our kicker lost the game.

Anyway, let's move on.

You really ought to become a Colts fan. You'd fit right in. They are still calling him overrated, a cheater, a system QB, and acting like the 2006 AFCCG was some sort of norm, rather than a farce partly decided by a bogus face-guarding call that the league had to apologize for.

Yup they'll just remember the win. Nothing else matters. Beating Bill and the Patriots and joining less than a handful of other QB's who have beaten all 32 teams is etched into his legacy, not his rating or completion percentage. Nobody cares about all of that.

And the coaching lost that Bucs game with the playcalling leading up to and including the field goal attempt. Not blaming the kicker for that one he was put in a tough spot.

The coaching? Folk hit the upright - he missed. It's not like the kick fell short by a few yards. The distance was there but the accuracy was slightly off. How's that Bill's fault? You love blaming Bill for everything, don't you? This was a game where NO ONE gave the Pats a chance to even come close to winning. All I heard from people like you and the media that week was that the Bucs were going to win 40-10 lol. Well, Bill kept Tommy out of the end zone the whole game and made him look like a rookie. You better hope it's not Bucs vs Pats in the super bowl next year. Bill is one of the few coaches that can slow Tommy down and make him look foolish.

I thought you wanted to move on.

And I didn't say Bill in particular. I said the coaching. That includes Bill, McDaniels or whoever it was calling plays. They went for a very low percentage FG try instead of trusting their first round QB to make a 4th and 3 and who was doing well throwing against the champs and a crippled secondary also under unbelievable pressure while getting literally less than zero production from their running game (-1 rushing yards). The throw on 3rd and 3 was a dumb call too.
That is what lost that game.

But people will remember it was a W for Brady and none of that other stuff.

Once again, you turn a thread into a sh*tshow.

And? The Giants are 2-0 vs him when it counts the most. He is 1-7 vs Rams/Saints as a Buccaneer. lastly, he is 1-3 vs Denver in the playoffs, the lone win coming vs Tim Tebow. Hardly anything to thump his chest about.
He’s 2-0 against the rams in the super bowl. Since you said the Giants wins against him count the most wouldn’t the same apply against the rams?

The overall point I am making is that Brady does not "own every team" like one of the above posters says. Four fanbases have major bragging rights over him.

Four fan bases? I'll give you the Giants.... but the Rams? No freakin' way. Brady beat them twice in the Super Bowl. That trumps a loss in the divisional round. Similar logic applies to New Orleans, whom Brady beat in the playoffs, which trumps any regular season losses he has.

You started a thread about Brady, you have made 25 posts about Brady in this thread, and then you complain about how obsessed people are with Brady. Seriously, Andy, I enjoy your trolling but you need to up your game. You're pulling a Skip Bayless: Saying things so stupid that it is obvious you don't believe your own statements and are just trying to get people riled up. Add a portion of subtlety and you will be more believable.

No that's not how it works. When Brady loses in the Super Bowl, those losses count more than anything else. When he wins in the Super Bowl, it doesn't count.

Just the other day, I overheard a bunch of Rams fans all talking about how much they own Tom Brady. You know, because they won that one game in the divisional round.... which is way more important than 2 Super Bowls....

Brady's worst super bowl wins were against the Rams. His stats prove as such. And what about Denver? He's 1-3 in the playoffs vs them, and like I said, his 1 win came against Tebow.

Are we now discussing Tom’s blunders?
