Just curious. How much of the draft do you genuinely watch?

I will watch rounds 1-3 pick for pick. Rounds 4-7 I usually check back once in a while to see what’s going on. It depends on my work schedule though as well.

Because of the time difference I will record and watch it all but with the remote on fast forward

I'll watch carefully through our first 5th rounder. Of course, I use the DVR to tape and trip commercials. Usually, I watch through our 4th (the players that will surely make the team). Because of the expanded number of players, I also expect our 5th to make it.

I tend to watch the first two nights now (rounds 1-3), then just check a tracker for day 3 once in a while. This year though I'm 50/50 for any of it. I don't want to pay for a month of TV just for the draft, and I'm running out of free trials to sign up for. Anyone have any leads on free streams?

Remember and keep this forum open at the same time as the draft as I am sure there will be just as much entertainment on here as there will be in Vegas

I enjoy the draft especially if I keep up with college football that season. I watch it all, but sometimes they force me to stop. When they stop showing the players' highlights and start to fall behind by like 5 picks without even trying to catch up is when I dip and just check the ticker on nfl.com etc.

I'd really appreciate if the panel was more enthusiastic about late round picks. I don't think it would be hard to find die hard people to fill tv time for a few hours. At least pretend:(.

I watch about 60% of it. All of day 1 and day 2. But Saturday I have things to do, so obviously I’ll miss a lot of those rounds.

The first two days, with the focus on rounds 1-2. The 3rd day (rounds 4-7) is the worst.

I watch the whole thing. Every single pick, till the Pats are done picking.

Which means the first round is often infuriating, because we usually pick after 3am where I am, so when you stay up till then only for us to trade out of the first round, it's a kick in the balls.

Yeah, Mike Mayock used to be visibly annoyed during the late rounds, when he was on NFL Network. He'd want to talk about some RG from some small school that Jacksonville had just drafted in the 6th round but Rich Eisen and Mariucci et al just wanted to be banter lords and rehash talking points from the first round.

I'll watch the first two nights, but can't stand the day 3 presentation. They get so far behind Twitter reports, spend so much time talking about irrelevant topics, and then don't even show every pick announcement.

If the draft is on and I don't have anything better to do (I never have anything better to do, that's why I post here), I'll keep it on while I play Elden Ring or something. Hard to pay close attention to non-Pats picks after about the top 15-20, but I like to have something on my other monitor. I'll probably pick days 2 and 3 over basketball. Thankfully, the Celtics swept and removed a potential conflict of interest.

Day 3 presentations. Ugh. Good reminder.

I have feeling Trader Bill is going to make us wait until Friday Rounds 2-3. I think if we get back a early Second in a Trade out of the First Bill will go for it.

0.0%

The Pats are so mercurial during the draft, I just wait until they make their picks and then react.

I only have a passing interest in other teams' picks and, like the Pats, I wait until the draft is over to look that information up.

Picks #1 to #21....then I go do something else and come back later to see #22-#32.

Rounds 2 - 3 ...I work all day on Friday...so will check in every 30-45 minutes to see when the Pats are on the clock/who they picked...

Rounds 4-7, I skip it completely and if I am home lounging on the couch...I'll tune in...otherwise, I read about them all on Sunday night...

Then Monday, I read the break downs of each player and watch film...get pumped....

Then it's time to re-watch the 2021-2022 season all over again every week until camp opens.

Literally none. For me, watching it is a complete waste of time, especially when I can just pop in here to stay current.

DVR the 1st round, and start it atleast an hour or so delayed to be able to hustle through it.

2nd and 3rd, usually will watch in entirety. Most enjoyable night of the draft IMO. Doesn’t have the lengthy delays between picks like the 1st round, but doesn’t have the “analysts” packing it in like day 3.

4th-7th. Will give it a start, but will usually carry on the day and keep tabs on the tracker when Patriots picks are approaching.
