It's pretty obvious that we had the saying wrong all these years.

Forget about Cleveland, just look at Belichick's record with the Pats without Brady. He's Rex Ryan without a playoff win.

It looks like Bob has regrets for hitching his wagon to the wrong guy.

This is subjectively biased nonsense. Aside from 2008 when the Pats went 11-5, BB has presided over a roster in heavy transition during three other seasons sans Brady (2000, 2020, 2021) and made the playoffs last year. Brady and BB complemented each other through two decades together and NEITHER would have enjoyed the same level of success in New England alone. If you're looking for something "pretty obvious," that's it.

I don't understand the logic behind keeping Brady for 3 years and getting rid of Belichick over keeping Belichick for another 5-6 years at least and letting Brady go....the best interest of the team is to keep the one who is going to stay in NE longer and that's Belichick. It's asinine to keep Tom for a short period of time just to keep the Tommyites happy...

Well, in hindsight I believe the best scenario would have been Brady finishing his career as a Patriot regardless. The two sticking points were making his contract amenable to both sides (satisfying both team needs/his wants) and Tom's willingness to finish out with a roster in heavy transition. Brady backers lose sight of how complicit he was in leaving New England. On one hand it's been suggested he would have stayed under the contract he sought, on the other hand he was not a happy camper in 2019, be it his relationship with BB, frustration over lack of offensive weapons or (likely) both. It's hard to imagine him being OK playing with what the Pats were able to field in 2020. But maybe it would have worked out, who knows?

This idea of dumping BB to keep Brady is a silly media construct. Kraft, as owner, is rightly frustrated over not winning a playoff game in three years given the team's history, but canning BB is a nonstarter for him. Bob always has said BB will leave on his own terms.

dude, it's not worth it. Hes trying to provoke an argument.

Classic trolling on the level of what Mac10 does when he gets on his anti-Brady tilts.

Happy Ending Bob is entitled to his opinions but I don't want to hear him talking at all. He didn't need to publicly say what he said about Mac either. There was no reason for that.

The very last thing a rebuilding team needs is the owner meddling with the football team.

Long past time for Jonathan to be ownership spokesman for this franchise.

Q: Does Insano have a subroutine to automatically throw a Goodell clown emoji at every single post of certain members or does he go around stalking ppl?
A: He doesn't know what a subroutine is.

Both. He's out to prove he doesn't have a life by demonstrating how others own him.

Whose to say Jonathan is behind this year's current FA spending, or lack thereof.

I recall reports of Jonathan being more thrifty than his father and that in 2001 after the Pats won a superbowl on a small budget that he was favor of not spending big in FA because they were able to win without doing that

I agree and cringed when he said what he said. I actually cringe any time he talks because he is either half drunk or just disingenuous.

It's not from drinking, that's just the way he talks.

We really can't know the truth can we? But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Bob has to learn that you can't handle the drinks at 80 that you can at 30.

I can't say how we got on the subject of Kraft but I'll bite.

I heard Kraft before talking about paying his QB 13%. I think that's a common practice with The 32.

If the Pats offered Brady 15 Mil in 2020, which they did, that would be less than 8% of the cap.

Nice write-up about the success of Tom Brady in the NFL:

Bro no way lol

Is that Gizelle with Antonio Brown?
