Report: Brady tried to push Belichick out for Bill O'Brien

Textbook definition of IG. Quarterback was in the pocket and under pressure. The closest receiver was 30 yards away from where the ball landed. That mistake cost the pats the SB.
It was 2-0 with 54 minutes left in the game. The Patriots were leading 17-9 at one point. They also had the lead with 1 minute left in the game. GTFOH!

Outside of the last drive of the first half and the first drive of the second half, what did Tommy do in that game? An offense that averaged 32 ppg during the regular season came up empty again vs NYG.

Pretty much ran for his life

The point you wanted to make is that the safety cost the Patriots the game. You narrow the goal posts constantly in your quest to diminish Brady's career. It's like If we can talk about this instance or that instance and use that as a backdrop, we can define Brady accordingly. You have an agenda that's obvious to everyone. When the Pats win it's always a team game and Brady wasn't ever all that big a roll in it. When they lose it's Brady that cost them the game. You want to keep winning these tiny (in the big picture) little arguments and figure if you put enough of them together you'll convince everyone that Brady isn't actually the GOAT and his greatness is just a myth. After all, look at all the little arguments you make.

Woodhead was not "let go". He received offers from both the Chargers and the Pats, and only decided to go to the Chargers because "God told [him] to"
Yeah well God told me to bet those pocket aces big but some a-hole riverred a set....

This is a good point: which is it?

A. Brady is responsible for wins and losses
B. It's a team game

We'll wait.

Whether the Pats had too many men on the field or not, Brady's safety led to 9 points by NYG. Who knows if the Pats even are able to cause the Cruz fumble with only 11 guys on the field...ever think of that?

I have never seen that called as IG in the playoffs until then and for good reason. He threw the ball deep he didn't throw it away to the right like he could have easily done which would have been IG, on the deep throw it could have very easily been a receiver breaking off his route too early. Brady's windup had started when Tuck had started to move toward him so there's not even conclusive evidence that he was in "danger of being tackled" as the rule says. Not a good call.

Welker's drop didn't help but the defense was absolutely atrocious and THAT cost them the Super Bowl.

The fact is BB the guy with the rep as a defensive genius built one of the worst defenses I have ever seen on a Patriots team and that includes the defense last season that still hasn't forced a punt against the Buffalo Bills in 140 minutes of football and counting. That 2011 defense allowed Chad Henne and Vince Young and Fitz to throw for 400 yards and Dan Orlovsky and probably Jason Campbell too to have a career day and then in the Super Bowl they got gashed by the worst running offense in the NFL. Embarrassing.

Yeah and this is what I was talking about. There no Brady vs Belichick debate anymore. This is about someone diminishing Brady's contributions and it's really weird to see for a Pats fan.

Brady's passer rating in that Super Bowl was over 10 points higher than Mac Jones rating in the wild card game.

So therefore that loss must have been all Mac's fault. Makes sense.

LOL what? The defense was bad all season. You can't expect the D to be top notch EVERY year. It was ranked 31st in 2011 and only managed to give up 21 points in the SB. On the other hand, the offense was ranked 2nd and scored at 32 PPG. In the super bowl the offense scored only 17. The truth is the Pats didn't deserve to be in the SB. The defense bailed out Tommy in the AFCCG vs Baltimore (239 yards, 2 INTs, 0 TDs, 57.5 passer rating).

Being good all season at something and then suddenly not showing up is called...choking.

As far as the intentional ground is called, Brady had the ball as Tuck was coming after him. Brady didn't even argue with the refs on that one. He knew.

LOL you're comparing a rookie to Brady? I'm sorry you're so hurt that Brady didn't perform well in all his super bowls. MJ he is not.

Blah, blah, blah. The first quarter wasnt even half way over yet. You are ridiculous. You ever think? You're going back on ignore.

I just put him on ignore. I hope everyone does. People barely responds to any of his post not about Brady anyway. Pretty useless. He does do a good job whining to mods though. Good riddance.

Brady had started his windup before he saw Tuck. There was no conclusive evidence that Brady threw it "in imminent danger of a loss of yardage" and if there was such a thing as replay on the flag it would have been overturned for that reason. Ticky tack at best, that call should have never been made in a Super Bowl.

Probably the smartest thing you've ever done

That's exactly the same logic as you're using.

Just stop. the defense gave up 17 points that game. They weren't atrocious.

The offense puked on their own jersey sputtered that day. No doubt about it.

They were bad all year that’s what I meant.

And they gave up the lead for good when the offense gave it to them. They couldn’t be counted on for anything.
