It's easy, and only takes a few moments. If Franchised, JC Jackson would have earned 17 million guaranteed in 2022. His new Chargers deal averages 16.5 million per season. Why are they paying him this much money?!....
i immediately jumped to ... 57 lol , thank you for that!I figured they might make a run at Steven Nelson, but he would have been way more expensive than this.
So maybe there's enough left to get Hicks, Flowers, or a guy like Clowney.
MalcolmRemember when I stuck up for Malcom Butler, blamed the coaches and thought he'd never return to the Pats?
Forget that.
I think Butler will probably provide better value as a Patriots than any other team. We have seen time and time again how players work best in Belichick's system. That being said I'd like to see one more veteran corner or high round draft pick brought in to compete for the top corner spot.
I think the long wait has meant that Flowers hasn't gotten the money he wanted elsewhere. The longer he goes un-signed the more likely the Pats get him back on a team friendly deal. This is why im suprised trey flowers hasn’t been brought back yet. Seemed like an obvious move the minute he was released
Yea, I was hoping we'd sign Nelson. Oh well.I figured they might make a run at Steven Nelson, but he would have been way more expensive than this.

Think you go fishing for one more CB Cousin?.
I will get booed for this one but one CB is a former first rounder that just got cut. Trae Waynes.
"Minnesota selected him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft and the team was hoping he would develop into their next great cornerback.
Waynes was solid in his tenure with the Vikings. But he was still really never able to live up to the expectations that came with being drafted in the first round".
This kid will be cheap. The Bengals cut him. He took a covid year. That did not help his cause. He signed a three year 42 million dollar contract with the Bengals and he did not perform even after the wasted covid year.
Could be a typical BB reclamation project. Mills was probabaly is the comp. He has the skills of a first rounder and the mind of a camp free agent. He's only 29. 4.31 speed. In his 5 years with the Vikes, 247 tackles, 7 ints and 42 PDs.

True, very true Cousin, but the main issue in our secondary is lack of speed. Waynes is a 4.31 guy. Does that transfer to a reinvigorated CB piece? Who knows.......but it's now or never for the kid. He has the talent.Waynes would probably improve this secondary too. But unless BB is a magician, I don’t see this reclamation secondary competing with playoff quality WRs.

Gilmore still that? They need more at CB. Where they get it from doesn't matter, as long as it's good enough to get the job done. What they really need is a CB1, but I don't know where they're going to find one.
Gilmore still that?
I bet Talib could still play a little bit tbh. Dude's barely 36bill the GM calling Aqib Talib as we speak
