It'll carry him to age 38 I believe, he's not like all-time-great level but he has the tools to win a title obviously. $40M a year is a good chunk of change, but he's around $20M this year before the extension kicks in and I'd guess this is a backloaded deal, so they are probably keeping their window open a few years. Obviously the issue is they have very little in the way of valuable draft picks so they have to purchase their talent, money becomes more important.Fair deal imo.
Probably Bills hands are tied by Kraft. So looks like he is saving money up for brown. Can we get a restructure from godchaux? This tells me Bill is trying to squeeze the last few drops out of the lemon.
Constant tweets about being in on a dozen FAs incl. our own but not willing to match offers. Most of those contracts don't look unreasonable.
There may be some truth to the not wanting to spend money into the future rumors.
I'm not sure why.For a 2023 6th round pick...that's a steal for Tenneessee. Interesting Schefter think that the Rams still want to sign OBJ...
If he's good to go and is fully back from that ACL, that's a real good get for the Titans. He's 13.5 against the cap this year, but has no guarantees beyond this year. And well worth that to the Titans if he's back up to speed. For a 2023 6th round pick...that's a steal for Tenneessee. Interesting Schefter think that the Rams still want to sign OBJ...

Woods>OBJ
At least in their system. He's an excellent blocker as well
They've got a very good group of young receivers. Also good RBs.I don't get why everyone is so high on the Broncos?
Another example:
Collins' tour continues
Chico and the Themand was filmed in LA too.I wonder which came first, the chicken (98.5) or the egg (the misery brigade here). Post after post of "duckboats!" and everyone sucks and should be cut...it's unreal. Even the sportscasters out here in LA are very different. When a team is falling apart, like the Lakers, they're still rah-rah'ing themand pulling for them, instead of the Bob Lobell'ish "hear my clever pun" diatribes.
I was out here when the Pats beat the Rams and the Sox beat the Dodgers...it's just a different way, entirely, of supporting their teams.
3rd ranked defense. They've got a very good group of young receivers. Also good RBs.
They're defense played better last year after Miller was gone.
They lost a couple of people off that defense.
The kick, though, is that they'll be light on draft picks to help out.
And the fact that he deleted it as opposed to keeping it and adding more information really pisses me off. I like Lazar as a reporter, but either someone burned him hard, or he got too caught up as fan in the lack of FA movement. The original tweet was worded in such a way that he was clearly taking a shot at the Patriots. It makes too much sense now. All of us know that the Patriots do their “due diligence” more than anyone in the league. They call, research, put out feelers on everything. Throw in the fact that the Pats have been interested in every damn FA available, and it just shows you how much ******** all of these reports really are.But the tweet was deleted.
Originally it said he spoke to a connected league source.
Now we have agents and players saying there was no contact at all with the Patriots.
I refuse to believe any more of these inside sources. It's clearly BS meant to make Belichick look bad.

I said you could make an argument for New England ahead of Pittsburgh. I wouldn't roll into a season with Trubisky as my starter but we'll see how it works out for them. They added Myles Jack who I wanted the Patriots to go after. We play at Pittsburgh next season, I have that one in the loss column. Cleveland and Cincinnati are definitely better than the Patriots on paper. That leaves Baltimore, who with a healthy Jackson, are also better than New England. Am I really talking crazy here?Lol.
All four AFCN teams are better than the Pats? No. And two of the AFCW teams won't even make the playoffs. So they won't have to crack the top 8. Biggest movers are Denver and maybe Cleveland because they added the position that matters most.
Unless you're talking fantasy team rankings...
