Von Miller is a Buffalo Bill

How much of the deal is guaranteed? 32, 33 and 34 years old? That will not end well.

$32M fully guaranteed.

From what im reading, its basically a 3 year contract, but the Bills did 6 years to spread out the cap hit. They can get out after 3 years.

They can get out after the $32M guaranteed is complete. If that is a $16M per year cap hit than they can get out after 2 years. I doubt they will pay him $52M over three years when only $32M is guaranteed. Maybe. I am not an expert on NFL contracts like some around here.

They just paid 20 mill a year to give us someone to run at.
I wouldn't be taking shots at a Team who played catch against us twice well last time they didn't even punt. Hey not going to lie I imagined Miller and Judon rushing as a tandem on the Patriots. That said hard to knock this move from the Bills. Even a blind Homer couldn't deny that or didn’t see it coming well Mac will see Miller coming.

It is a good signing, but Miller is going to be 33 in a week. They better hope he doesn’t hit the age wall. At his age, he has the potential to hit it at any time. If he doesn’t, he is worth the money. If he does…

He won't be able to last a whole season this deal is bonkers. If he's able to play the playoffs anywhere near his standard it will still be worth it for them.

Bills front 7 individually had a lot pedestrian-feel good guys. They need a headliner and had to overpay for Miller. They want to win now.

Wow. Didn’t see that coming.
Well that escalated. I could see him Terrorizing poor Mac Jones for years, much like Jason Taylor used to shred our OL when he played for the Phins.

Well la di FREAKING daaaa

Him and Aaron Schobel of the Bills were f***ing annoying.

it's getting comical at this point. Many AFC teams have leapfrogged the Pats based on rosters. yes we all know a star studded roster does not a champion make, BUT ...we know based on his lackluster well below .500 Dec/Jan record the last 3 years, Coach Bill does not have his coaching fastball anymore to make up for his personnel failures. the Pats are looking like they're headed to also ran status....there's no way one could look at the team now compared to last year and say they're better

I’m ambivalent on this one. I do think if you pay in free agency, you should pony up more for a star player, while paying big for a mediocre player is the worst approach.

But I also hate paying so much for an edge guy and obviously there’s Miller’s age.

Keep in mind that the Bills are one of the rare NFL teams to completely rotate their pass rushers.

No one plays more than 1/2 of the defensive snaps.

By the end of the season, Bills pass rushers have WAY less wear and tear on their body because of the rotation.

For example, Judon had almost 900 snaps last year. Meanwhile, Jerry Hughes (Bills) had only 558.

I wonder if that went into Millers decision too. Saving his body.

That will help but he's still a 33 year old pass rusher and the odds of him missing 4 or more games in the season are probably 80% or better. I'm sure though that if he is available for the playoffs it will be worth it. Injuries aside, you guys are in great shape.

They are better now than that were March 16 of last year.
