At what cost, 40 million a year? IMO Sox need to develop cost effective young talent to balance the roster. I would rather give Devers a chance to move to first. This is JD's fifth and final year, maybe a NL team needs a good DH and allows Dalbec to get 200 more at-bats(417) to improve on his 25 Hrs and 78 Rbi's stat line.

Dalbec with a HR in the first ST game. Maybe regular time at 1B/DH does the trick and he proves he is a big time power guy (i think he is)
