Is it only me, or does the whining, griping, and entitled attitude of so many posters ruin this as a place to come for news?
I mean why would someone put there interest into something and do nothing but bltch about it all the time? Why not find a different hobby that doesn’t make you miserable? What is the point really?
Every post that provides any news at a time when there is a lot of news happening is polluted by 10 whining, complaining negative cryfests. I honestly don’t get it.

Guess my Wynn proposed Trade wasn't too far off. The Pats are Trading Mason wrong guy if you ask me.

I really don’t understand how a guy like Mason only nets you a 5th rd pick. He’s got 2 years left on a deal that is paying him jack compared to what other guards have signed for the last 2 days. He’s one of the best offensive lineman in the league. I’m sure Bill tried to get more for him, but didn’t have any takers, which is odd to me. We free up the cap space, which we needed, but that pick really hurts. UNLESS we can make an equally absurd trade of that 5th to someone else!

I said this last year in my thread and even recently.

This year (2021) was all about seeing what translates for Mac. Integrating him into the culture. Seeing what he could do with this group which isn't bad. It's not great but they're not bad at all. Seeing if he can elevate and make anyone better.

This year (2022) is a tinkering year to get ready for 2023. We'll add a piece or two but this is most likely it. If Mac shows enough, he gets a big toy in 2023. If he doesn't what's the point in spending or drafting someone early.

That just seems like the rough plan imo but I'm just a dumb farmer what do I know.

Anyway I see both sides. I want to surround Mac with as much talent as possible but if we're being objective Stafford, Jackson, Burrow types throw for 28-32 TD with this group. If it's there I'll gladly do it but I'm not breaking the bank for Allen Robinson or Christian Kirk or drafting all but 2 WR in the 1st so I don't want to force anything either.

But yea I've said as much before we took a snap last year.

Wow, that kinda sucks to lose Mason. The line is looking thin right now vs last year. No Karras, no Mason and Brown is still unsigned. Onwenu can fill one of those slots, but only one. On the flip side, they have room to work with now and can obviously make a good bit more if desired via guys like Judon, Henry etc. So it does sort of feel like another shoe is going to drop here.

Good trade for the Bucs, landing Mason after the unexpected retirement of Ali Marpet. One has to wonder though how the trade is in the best interest of the team. I don't see it.

This is an epically bad start to the offseason. The Patriots are getting worse now while seemingly everyone else in the AFC is furiously trying to outdo one another. I hope there is some bigtime countering move to this Mason salary dump. A final push for Robinson??

Jesus, even the Jets signing Jordan Whitehead, that's a significant piece added to their secondary. To go along with the CB they signed... D.J. Reed.
