Pretty boring signings so far.

I want to hear a big signing already.

Isn't this year's pace much slower than usual? We are 1.5 hours into FA and only the Trubisky signing was mildly interesting....

Because most teams don't want it out there this early because it makes the legal tampering period look like the joke it is when big deals get announced an hour in meaning teams and FA were talking before it was allowed

But last year...we made most of our signings within the first six hours....Judon, Henry, Karras, and a few others....

John Wilkes Booth
Lee Harvey Oswald
Marques Valdez Scantling

yeah I see the pattern…
Wilkes and Harvey are their middle names though. It's the dual surnames like Valdez-Scantling or Tryon-Shoyinka or Arcega-Whiteside or Green-Beckham that seem to end up never becoming great (at most just average). Or busts.

That wasn't during the legal tampering period though. That was when FA started. There is NO ****ing way Belichick was allowing deals to be reported during the tampering period. Only deals that would happen if that player had been released before the league year started, not still technically contracted to a team

Ted Karras signing with the Bengals. Three years $18 million.

Karras is a good player, but that that is a lot of money.

It is, but I think he's a starting caliber G in this league. And it leaves us with a hole there, unless we re-sign Brown and give Onwenu another go at LG. Certainly not a disastrous loss, but a guy I would have preferred to keep.

Bengals sign the #15 & #18 graded Guards.
