Robbie Anderson to NE?

Its already going to be a long season.

Belichick is still shopping at the Flea Market for bargain players.

Some of those bargain players have been useless, some have been useful, and some have been crucial to winning it all.

I don’t mind the bargain hunting.

Robbie Anderson is a guy who can fly.
He has that long lean body similar to Moss.
I’m not even saying he is remotely close to Miss but I see what Belichick sees.
That being said id rather have Calvin Ridley if his he is at a good place mentally.
Robbie Anderson and Amari Cooper are both numbed 2 fringe 2 WRs either one would be fine.
Bill seems to prefer Robbie.
But we all know how this will go we will see what ultimately transpires.
Biggest thing we need SPEED on both sides of the.ball.
I am most concerned about our linebacker position.
I want to see what changes iif any BB makes.
We need to get faster and nastier on defense first and foremost.

We need #1’s, not more #2’s at best.

This.... My exact thought. We need a star WR1, then look to get complimentary WR's. I hate the bargain hunting stuff when we don't have star power on the roster. I feel like its cart before the horse type of business.

Yeah no thanks. Would rather hope continuity pays off and Agholor gets more in sync in year 2.

I prefer a true WR1 but we've also had a lot of success over the years without one. 3 competent number two's in Meyers-Bourne-Anderson doesnt seem all that horrible to me.

You can win with guys off the street when you had Tom Brady.

None of the NE WRs scare anybody.

Getting rid of JC Jackson and not seriously addressing the WR position is a recipe for disaster.

KC is looking for a threat at WR3. Good luck keeping up with them and the top tier offenses like Buffalo, Cincinnati, etc.

Another cool-aid moment...I'm fairly high on Wilkerson. If Harry is no longer taking up a WR spot blocking for the O-line (the O-line needs to be more consistent in 2022)...then I think Wilkerson sees the field a lot more then in 2021 and has a positive impact. Mac's second year with Meyers and Bourne and possibly throw in Anderson and Berrios...that's not a bad WR room. I'd prefer Cooper but prob won't happen.

I know he had a couple of arrests, but I thought they were of the minor variety. I am aware of what he did that was really that bad.

But we have had guys like Corey Dillon, Antonio Brown, Patrick Chung, Aaron Hernandez, Dave Meggett, Reche Caldwell, etc. on the Pats over the years. Granted some of them weren't arrested for crimes until after they left the Pats and/or were immediately cut, but they were human garbage while they were here and we just didn't know it. Anderson would be the breaking point for you?
Don’t forget about indicted rapist Matt Patricia.

Each team has its own definition of a WR1. Since BB has a history of limiting what opposing offenses (and many others) consider a #1, maybe he doesn't value it all that much. I'm not sure that's the case, but this draft more than most should reflect whether that theory has merit.

Hope this is a rumor I think we can do much better. A lesser guy may have worked with the GOAT. Mac is not the GOAT nuff said!

Jagahlor is the 3rd highest paid Patriot as of today. New England Patriots Salary Cap | Over the Cap Ridiculous.

Big deal that he was open and wasn't thrown to. He is no difference maker. If he hit free agency Jag would just be another average WR out of work. Cut him and salvage whats left of this car wreck of a transaction saving approximately 4 million. Nelson Agholor Contract Details, Salary Cap Charges, Bonus Money, and Contract History | Over The Cap
Couldn't agree I'm in disbelief of the contract given. Rolleyes

Because he had a salary of $1 million LAST YEAR.

Do you guys even understand how this works?
