OT: Stafford a Hall of Famer?

In 2022, seven QBs were nominated - none made the list of HOF semi-finalists. I would rank Stafford fifth on this list.

Donovan McNabb (lost SB)
Boomer Esiason (lost SB)
Steve McNair (lost SB)
Matthew Stafford (won SB)
Jake Delhomme (lost SB)
Jeff Garcia
Dave Krieg

Randall Cunningham should be in the HOF and was an extraordinary player for the Eagles and the Vikings. In looking over these QBs, the biggest surprise was the productivity and staying power of Jeff Garcia. Dave Krieg had a very good career as well but it never translated to playoff success.

Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton, Jim Kelly, and Sonny Jurgensen are in the HOF without a title. Cunningham was the first African American NFL MVP and retired with the most yards rushing by QB. He also set an NFL record with the longest punt in NFL history - 91 yards.

All the aforementioned QBs were better than Cunningham.

When I saw that, I immediately contrasted it with Vince stopping to help at a car accident.

Stafford was prob hammered but still. Just piss poor consideration for another injured person.

Glad to hear the Rams are paying for all of her medical expenses and new camera equipment.

George Blanda, who is in the HOF, might be a good example of a quarterback who didn't really elevate his teams (in the NFL) and somehow got into the HOF. He did have 27,000 yards, 36 TDs, and 277 INTs.
