I disagree. I'd put that roster of Randy, Wes, Stallworth and Jaffney up against any from the Patriots past. Randy and Wes. Randy and Jabar. Randy and Donte. I am not disparaging Stanley and Fryar, either. They are great. I'll take Randy and _________ over 'em, tho.

Nope. I agree Anyone else who says otherwise is insane. WW is widely considered the greatest slot receiver of all time and is borderline hall of fame

Moss is so otherworldly that even if you could make an argument that either fryer or Irving were better than Welker . Moss would have more than made up that difference.

Sure he would have. Fryer had 2 catches for 24 yards in the SB. Not exactly lighting it up.

That was a tough catch and I am not sure that a guy who cant handle driving a car around the stadium without crashing it is gonna make that catch.

On a pure TALENT level I would say Moss and WW were the two best as they set the standard and defined their positions. But WW is not appreciated enough here. Just and incredible route runner and durable and consistent and exceptional on ST.

WW over Moss? I dont know Moss was an incredibly gifted player with an incredible knack for the game. He really had the whole tool belt even moreso then Rice.

He didn't do most of his work in New England, but look at his stats.

It's the same way we consider Rodney or Haynes as great Patriot players even though the truth is they were better elsewhere in their careers.

As is obvious to anyone who has a 3rd grade reading level here, I didn't say Morgan is better than Moss. I said the opposite.

Fryar AND Morgan are both Hall of Fame caliber players. Welker is not.

If we wanted a WR for Mac Jones tomorrow who was en exact clone of these guys, Welker would get the LEAST amount of votes by a mile. The vast majority of Patriot fans would want a Stanley Morgan for Mac instead of a Wes Welker.
