Are you really fat like everyone here claims?

If you are, just think how your body would look if you put the same time and energy into exercise that you do into discussions like this and time on this forum.

No **** there is no universal GOAT. But the four major sports have as close to a unanimous GOAT as you’ll get. I’d say 50%+ of fans consider the below four the GOAT. I’ve seen people make arguments for the guys in parentheses.

NFL: Brady (Rice, Brown, Taylor)
NBA: Jordan (Russell, Jabbar, James, Chamberlain)
MLB: Ruth (Mays, Bonds, Williams, Cobb, Wagner)
NHL: Gretzky (Orr, Howe, Lemieux)

Venechump says there is a universal GOAT. I was just responding to him.

If we all put the same time and energy into something productive that we do into discussions like this and time on this forum, we'd probably cure cancer or invent (discover?) cold fusion.....

I don't think Mahomes is broken but the things that makes him so fun to watch, the improvisational scrambling and awkward arm angle throws, need to be significantly reduced from his game. He's gotten so dependent on the unconventional that he can't make the routine plays with any consistency.

Also, his first two seasons were just so incredible (winning a Super Bowl and a league MVP) that the expectations (including of himself) went through the roof. Two years later, not living up to those expectations with a SB beatdown and a second half collapse in the AFCCG, I think he's probably spent mentally as well. I don't know what it'll take but he needs to get mentally reset heading into next season.

I still consider Mahomes the most talented quarterback in the NFL (with Josh Allen gaining ground quickly) and I think he'll end up with a HOF career with multiple league MVP's and 1-3 more Super Bowl titles, giving him the best chance of finishing with the most Super Bowl rings of all the great young quarterbacks, but chasing GOAT status is probably off his radar at this point.

The resurrection of @crawhammer

****ing legend.

crawhammer like the flied lice?

Didn’t watch the full game because I was in the hospital becoming a father :) but didn’t Andy Reid decided to not take the points and kick a safe FG at the end of the 2nd quarter? Why go for the dagger there? No need.

I like this “new nfl” with HCs going for it all the time, taking risks,etc.. the analytics back this up I believe, I remember more teams losing games because they were afraid to lose and went conservative than losing for taking too much risk, but they will lose those games too sometimes.

I understand the new generation of HCs defying old football wisdom “you always take the points” but an old dog like Reid should know better.
I seem to remember going for two hurt teams more than it helped.

On to the important stuff though. Boy or girl?
Yeah who can forget Ty Law locking down Owens during that impressive defensive performance by the Pats in that Eagles Super Bowl. Oh wait he wasn’t playing because he went on IR 3 months earlier and TO went off for 100+ yards and a TD.

Oh but Adam kicked the game winner in Super Bowl 38. You know, after going 0 for 2 earlier in the game. Not to mention the Pats defense collapsing and giving up nearly 30 points in the second half alone.

Yeah Butler bailed the Pats out with the pick. After the defense left Lynch wide open on a wheel route and then gave up a crazy circus catch to Kerse. They actively tried to lose the game.

Oh and who can forget Super Bowl 36 when the Pats defense went into the 4th quarter defending a 17-3 lead and proceeded to choke it all away.

Defense won the second super bowl against the Rams I’ll give them that. Brady didn’t play particularly well. He still made the throw of the game though.
Funny how AV had four misses at the time and all four were in that stadium. I wasn't oozing with confidence.

I still think about the way Duron Harman leaped over Kearse as he was on the ground making the catch. WTF was he thinking?

As our old pal Tom Brady once said, there is no game that I'd rather win than this one.

Go Cincy !!!

If you want to have an intelligent discussion about why Brady is better in certain non-quantifiable categories where I think Montana is equal or better than him, including ball placement, nimbleness/agility, clutchness, leadership, etc., I'd be happy to engage. However, I think you'll eventually revert to the numbers argument, which is not what I am debating at all. You see, it all depends how each person defines the "greatest." Some people look at numbers, others look at other factors like the ones I mentioned above, and others look at a combination of the two. I'm not a stats guy myself because it's tough to compare across eras.

No one is equal to or better than Brady in clutchness. It is a ridiculous claim.

Best to ever do it.
We get it. You love the guy. Its not his horrendous pick 6 to Von Miller that cost them the AFCCG in Denver in 20015 it was Gost's XP.

Can you do anything else besides dreaming sucking Brady off? My god you are embarrassing.

He is still not going to fuk you.

Do you want me to list Brady's super bowl mistakes?
How about listing all of the teams mistakes and weighing them against Brady's for proper context. In the loss to Eagles, the defense made waaay more mistakes, Ghost missed a 26 yd fg, and the HC shyt the bed, that far outweigh the strip sack. Brady had a record performance in that game and put the team in a position to win if the D finally steps up and makes a stop.

I am a huge Tom Brady fan. I watched him all year. Brady is a God to me and many here. That dosent exempt him from mistakes (which I knoe you cant deal with hearing) he has made.

Not sure why you think that myself and other posters who all agree that Brady's pick 6 in the Denver game in 2015 was more the cause of the loss than the Gost XP means I am not a Brady fan??

But if you cant understand this then it shows you either dont understand football, dont understand math, or are just blinded by Brady worship.

Regardless, perhaps if you looked at other peoples point of view and did some critical thinking - instead of just calling people trolls and threatening to block everyone you will be taken more serious.

Brady has had exactly one debacle of a playoff loss and that was the 2009 wildcard game against the Ravens when the entire team was either dead or malcontent and no one cared. Mahomes already has two.

If you cant understand what I am trying to say (particularly after your 2015 AFCCG comments) then you shouldnt be here.

-I'll give you SB 52. The defense was the main culprit in the game, even though Brady's strip sack (with a wide open James White) ended all hope of a Patriots win. But here are a few more:

-Two picks vs Seattle in SB 49 (to jeremy lane and bobby wagner)

-Pick 6 vs Atlanta in SB 51 (to robert alford)

-INT in end zone vs Carolina in SB 38 with 7 minutes remaining in 4th quarter

-INT vs NYG in SB 46 (to chase blackburn)

-Intentional grounding vs NYG in SB 46

Also, who do you suppose leads the NFL in playoff interceptions thrown? Bottom line is Brady has made a lot of clutch plays but has also made a number of blunders in the playoffs.

If you want to relive all of Brady's super bowl INTs, here ya go...
