Did anyone watch the game? (2/3/22)

Were any of the players there then invited to the Senior Bowl?

What's the over/under on Belichick using a 6th rounder on Navy's Diego Fa got - LB?

I watched it, it was a great game. Slow first half, great 2nd half. I would bet that there will probably be a Pat’s draftee that played in that game. Jelani Woods, 6’7” 265 pound TE from UVA, I wish the Pats would draft him. I know the Pats probably won’t draft a TE, but if they are gonna walk away from Asiasi and Keene, would love to draft Woods. He’s a matchup nightmare.

More pressing needs but could see them using a 4th or 5th on him.

Offensive Players that impressed me at the shrine bowl game:

Qb - perry
Center - howerton
Guard - volsom
Offensive tackle - van demark
Tight end - quitorino
Running back - Pearce
Wide receiver - Martin

I was kinda joking about Fa got honestly. That's why I said a 6th rounder... A LB/ST guy from Navy? that sounds like something BB might trip over himself to add.. LOL.. IF he grades out well.. Which is what I don't know.

Can someone please explain the difference between the Shrine game and the senior bowl for me ?...there seems to be better players in the Senior bowl or is that just me being wrong as usual....lol

East–West Shrine Bowl - Wikipedia

"Teams consist of players from colleges in the Eastern United States vs. the Western United States. Players must be college seniors who are eligible to play for their schools.[3] The game and the practice sessions leading up to it attract dozens of scouts from professional teams. Since 1985, Canadian players playing in Canadian university football have also been invited"

Senior Bowl - Wikipedia
"The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played annually in late January or early February in Mobile, Alabama, which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects of those players who have completed their college eligibility."

The Senior Bowl DOES have better players. They are the ones who are higher ranked, typically. You will occasionally get a player who played at the East-West game get asked to the Senior Bowl when they have REALLY stood out AND there is an injury to someone on the Senior Bowl roster.
