Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Bills beat the Pats

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

The end zone int was behind agahlor.

He had to slow down.
It wasn’t behind him, he didn’t slow down. He could have led him more, but it wasn’t behind him.

Steve Belichick and his meth head looking face need to go. How the heck is he calling plays, what credentials does he have besides being Bills son?

He's the best and most qualified person to be the Defensive Coordinator for the Patriots. The fact that he happens to be Bill's son is a mere coincidence.

HT needs to retire, Bentley sucks, Collins is done being a good player, Van Noy is done.
That Bills D lineman looked faster than any of those guys chairing down Harris that one play on 3rd down.
Team speed on D has been a problem for years.

The defense was a franchise historic embarrassment tonight and the last 4 games they have not been able to make stops when they need to. Some of this is coaching, most of it is lack of speed and talent.
Next year the pats could finish last in the division.
Mac is a good QB but not great. He is vastly overrated and will not be a top 10 QB. No franchise is winning a Super Bowl with him.
Too early to say that about Mac, he's a rookie, the D stunk tonight, they need faster LB's for one thing. I don't put this loss on the offense.

Bill is a great coach, but it's almost inevitable to be rated greater than you really are when you coach the greatest QB of all time for most of your career. Not his fault.

BB would be basking in glory if the scores were reversed and we had thrashed the Bills.

With the thrashing we received, it's only fair he gets the blame.

I think we have a great future. Time to clean house and build around Mac and Mondre. The D is too slow. Special teams needs a better coach. Overall I would give this season a B+. Hope we have another great draft.

This team needs at least one player on every level, on both sides of the ball, with the possible exceptions of QB and RB.

I think we need to retire the "Bend then Break" defense

"Bend but don't break" is how the Bengals beat the Raiders today.

Bills were the better team coming in and are the better team going out but to lose in that fashion for a “playoff” team is an embarrassment. Honestly, any further talk of Bill as some defensive genius just needs to stop. Maybe he once was but in todays NFL, no longer. You can make all the excuses you want but bottom line is he couldn’t get a single punt IN TWO GAMES against them.

The team came ill prepared to play in too many games and that sits squarely with the head coach.
I think you're seriously underestimating how absolutely undermanned we are on D. I saw some guys out there tonight like Bausby and Bethel and I was rubbing my eyes. You can blame Bill for the personnel and the GM building this D, but it's miracle this D performed as well as it did this year. I mean, Bentley, Williams, Hightower, McCourty, Van Noy, we are really really SLOW.

Well he still sucks at his job, I could of called a better game.

Not disagreeing, sorry if my comment came off that way. I'm more in the middle of the bill belichick greatness hype. I think he is great but not as great as the hype.

Generally agree. Maybe strong safety is fine (Phillips and Dugger). Not even sure if RB is an exception because as decently Bolden did in his fill-in role, we can certainly upgrade on him as a 3rd down back and he’s getting up there in years himself.

Absolutely pathetic showing. Disappointing season losing 4 of the last 5, you are a homer if you say otherwise.
I’m a homer, and still think we sucked something awful down the stretch.

It was a humiliating kick in the crotch. Where's that homer who said we had a "top 3 defense"? Where's that guy who lambasted a poster for saying bb's method of defense is too slow and sluggish for today's game?

Shame on those homers. Shame! This was probably the worst playoff beatdown since the 86 bears superbowl. Disgusting. We didn't belong out there. This defense can't stop a wet paper bag.

Hope the homers are happy. Squelch criticism all they like, then you get a debacle like this. Like to rub their noses in it. Bad dog!

Disgusted. I don't like the lack of heart and effort. To me that leads to coaching. I'm not crazy about Bill's kids on the staff. It's been down hill since they've been given roles.. Bill is "setting up" his kids future at the cost of the team. Just my pissed off, angry opinion

A little sprinkle of McCourty wouldn't hurt either

…or they came so prepared that on some occasions their lack of talent didn’t cost them. The team needs to retool in some key areas. I can’t be the only one who thinks HC isn’t one of those.
If that were true this team wouldn’t be making so many mental mistakes, they would just be coming up short.

And who’s the guy who makes all the personnel decisions?

All paths lead back

Step in the right direction in 2021 but there’s still a lot of work to do. This is still a rebuilding team and the holes that we saw in the last month on defense weren’t mirages. Tonight was tough but a reality check.
