OT: Dave Gettleman announces retirement as Giants GM

No.

If they were going to make a push, this is probably their last chance.

The reports say the Flores was in conflict with Tua and Grier and Marino sided against Flores. The reports say that the tension was unworkable for another year. So Miami is all in on Tua. I think that is great - I am not impressed with Tua.
I agree, if i'm bill I would call Flores immediately and offer him DC and maybe future HC just as an incentive to not take other jobs rn

That would mean demoting Stevie.
And that's completely necessary bc i can't stand this defense plan or play calling we had the last games

Flores had personality conflicts in Miami. Not sure I would rush to make someone with friction in past organizations a HC offer. I see a lot of support for Flores on this board, and I think highly of him as a DC, but that does not make him an appropriate HC.

was there anyone that Marino didn't have a conflict with?

guy always was a first class *******

Bill knows him, i don't care if he doesn't get along with tua as long as there is not such thing here with jones or whoever. I'd rather have Flores than Patricia, Steve B. or McDaniels as an HC if we are looking at inside the organization guys

I'm surprised Gettleman wasn't fired awhile ago. That guy still had a job ???

He was an absolute disaster as GM. You could tell they were screwed when this clown had no idea how to operate a basic computer during the draft.

Miami hadn't had back-to-back winning seasons since Wannstedt (2000-2001). And Florida did that with Tua/Fitzpatrick.

That makes him an appropriate HC, at least for getting another season.

Ross has blown through 6 head coaches since taking over the team in 2009. If you're looking for problems in Miami, start there.

he's 3-0 vs NE...

he may not be great, but he certainly has our number

Judge is dead man walking. A new GM is gonna want his guy. Either this year or next.
